I LET MY GIRLFRIEND CHANGE MY OIL & FILTER * AUDI TT MK2 *

I like to change the oil fairly regular in the TT as i rack up a fair few miles. My girlfriend has been itching to give it a go so why not let her!...
The car is a 2006 Audi TT MK2 8J 2.0FSI with 114000 miles on the clock & still going strong.

1. get a Vag oil drain hose (Sealey VS7010, for example, like 15 pounds), worth it if you're changing the oil so often, it would spare you the mess. 2. get a 36mm socket for the oil filter casing, it makes it so much easier, just a few quid. 3. it takes 4.5 liters, put just a bit more to be on the safe side in case it burns some of it. 4. your undertray will definitely fall at some point, probably while moving at high speed. The bolts are going into metal brackets in the bumper, they sometimes fall off and it's impossible to get them to fit in the plastic alone. 5. just cut an empty bottle of 2l soda in half and put it in when pouring the new oil, don't make it messyyy. 6. totally not related to the video, maybe for a future one - you can try a transmission mount insert (powerflex or other brand), it makes a huge difference in putting the power down. Nice video . I know it was more of changing oil with girlfriend and she’s worried about car falling. But you should possibly put chicks under back wheels . Can you show exactly where you are placing the axle stand , as in wrong place and dropping the car could push the stand through bottom of car

Lambros Films Everything is same. Same socket for filter cap.Only diffrence is that the amount of oil is About 5,5litres. Last year i have done also oil change in DSG .

You should check oil on the most level surface possible. With not much inclination it will give you a very wrong reading.
