We need mechanics for more than just dogfighting. We need new gamemodes that support roles like bombing, recon, search and destroy, SEAD, etc. Would also absolutely love it if game tags got removed from air RB just like Ground RB.

they need to get rid of blind hunt orders as well, that shit is pointless when there is radar. But blindhunt is more accurate so people tend to use it still. And it completely ruins any chance of a comeback for the player that is getting hunted

yes and add a 1v1 mode both ground and air so you can battle against randoms with same br vehicles esspecially air where you don't get 3th partied when in dogifght. getting in a fair dogfight is rly hard

With the stealth and fox 3, I wanna add some source of AWACS. Imagine when AWACS down, Air RB will be Ground RB. Giving players a thing to protect not just bases.

With the Su-27 vs F-22 example, let's not forget that the F-22 has a Low Probability of Intercept radar, which is essentially a radar that works to pretend to be background radiation so that enemy aircraft don't even get alerted to the fact that they've been *seen,* let alone tracked. An ESA radar will allow you to precisely track multiple targets without spiking them, a LPI radar won't even give them nails. Also, you neglected electronic warfare, which is for all intents and purposes already confirmed by the fact that Betty has a sound file called "jammer.wav"

I hope that someday, they'll add smth like a Bigger EC style combined arms gamemode for Ground. Like we could play on Maps like Afghanistan, have some really big Gunfights over 5km+ have AWACS and SEAD for Planes etc. Even have it as an Event to test it. It would be nice to try. For MAWS i would like to have an option, how much it does Flare/Chaff when missile is fired upon you. Like you can change the ripple quant. for periodic Flares. For RCS i would like a rechange of the current system, before they add Stealh Fighters. i.e an Mig29 should have an signifficant bigger frontal RCS because of the exposed fans of the Engines.

Let me just put this out there....we should see radar targets on the ground with all 4th gen radars. Everyone in the community has this weird notion that "multipathing" happened irl which caused missiles like the Sparrow to have low hot rates (35%). However no one thinks that F-4's carried those missiles which did have radars with ground clutter due to a 3rd gen radar system. For anyone who wants to bring up the "fly below the radar" to defend Gaijin, that phrase is meaning you use the curvature of the Earth, hill, mountains, or anything that will put a physical opbject between you and the target so the target cant see you on radar...as if you're flying under a radar. ER's, Sparrows, Pheonix's, etc should be hitting low altitude targets easily. These missiles are sophosticated and so are the radar systems that guide them to the target.

The game would worse off to play if multipathing was removed so many 3rd gens are going to become useless cause they don't have adequate radar missiles. F-4s vs mig21 is going to be one sided only the aim-7m has the tech to hit low targets.

@@ferrous3262 I don't think it's as one sided as you think. 3rd gens already deal with the real problem those radars had, ground clutter. So removing "multipathing" would do nothing for any tier below top tier. Removing multipathing would allow the top tier aircraft to actually perform like they did irl with bvr starting to become more important the higher the tier.

Something i wonder about them adding stealth is if they'll add anti-stealth technologies, like multistatic radars or synthetic aperture imaging, cause they're obscenely obscure and mostly classified, but they do exist, and would be a really interesting way to balance stuff out, so.

The range for an IRST to detect a stealth plane would vary and also the quality of the IRST would be very influenced by weather and other factors so i wouldnt trust the IRST to detect a stealth plane such as the F22 or F35 farther away than a radar would. However, the stealth technique only works as long as the stealthplane dont use their active radar, look onto targets (valid for newer generations) or open up their bomb/missile doors, if and when they do they will light up just as anyone else.

You can put the most advanced radar on Su-57, back it up with just as capable AWACS and Ground-radars as the West, and it would still be detected from over 6 times greater range than F-22 and F-35. You can put the most advanced IRST on Mig-29/Su-27 and it would still be detected from several times greater range than the F-22 or F-35. You can put the longest range missile on Mig-29/Su-27 and it still wouldn’t make any difference in real world. The disparity in detection range and ultimately Situational Awareness is so enormous that the state of avionics suite or armament have negligible effect. That is the power of Stealth. Period. And the Su-57 doesn’t have anywhere close to the most advanced radar or IRST. Where F-22 and F-35 are flying with 3rd generation AESA radars, the N036 on Su-57 will be Russia’s 1st generation AESA radar. The brand new Mig-35 in Russian Airforce continue to fly with old Mechanical radars because the planned AESA radar, Zhuk-AM still remain under development.[4] With respect to IRST you’ve the OLS-35 on Su-35 that became operational in 2014 still using a non-Imaging IR sensor which you can tell from the number of targets it can track, a grand total of 4. An Imaging IR sensor can easily track in double or triple digits; Typhoon’s PIRATE for instance can reportedly track 500 targets. You have the latest Russian IR missiles in service, R-73M and R-74 using non-Imaging IR seekers while the R-74M2 with Russia’s first IIR seeker remains under development. So on one hand you’ve F-22 and F-35 using AIM-9x Block II with two-way datalink for reliable Lock-on After Launch (LOAL) capability while on the other you’ve Russia still struggling to field R-74M2 with a basic IIR seeker. This is the state of Russian semiconductor industry.

I feel like that won’t really change the game, in a dogfight and close encounters yes it would 10000% make a massive impact, but in a general rb game it wouldn’t even turn on until you get below a certain speed, a lot of Russian jets will become the best dog fighters and best in close range engagements and the American jets will be best in bvr

I think they should add a Romanian aviation sub tech tree to Germany for another plane with Fox 3s, I mean F-4 at Top Tier? Come on gaijin, the F-16 MLU in the Romanian Air Force can come to the game with Fox 3s, and the MiG-21 SMT will get a contender: MiG-21 LanceR. + Many other IAR planes, MiG-29 Sniper, IAR-80, La-7, some tech tree Bf 109s, the G-2 for example.

Well no need to go that far in the future or need totally new planes for MAWS, because afaik every Mirage 2000s (except the S4) should have a 360° MAWS and i'm sure we have already others planes in others nations that can have it. About stealh it's gonna be totally useless if Gaijin don't add way bigger maps.

Super manueverability is a gimmick that will only be useful in 1v1 and not Air RB or dogfights since using these manuevers leaves you with no energy.

@@warthundershowcasing8905well super maneuverability is only turned on at low speeds (thrust vectoring), in high speeds it would be just like any other jet but at those lower speeds in a dogfight, it’s so op, especially with the missiles that we have such as the r73, and the future aim 9x, dogfights are going to feel like two bi planes in arcade 😂

But in 1v1, this will be crucial, because the only thing needed to win in modern 1v1 is to point the nose as quickly as possible and fire a missile that cannot be flared or dodged. Low speed is not such a big problem, since modern jets restore energy in a matter of seconds.
