Wow, Rita Moreno, the embodiment of "La Sangre Caliente" ! What an amazing woman (48 at that time, Ay Carambah & Dios Mio)! Summer of the same year, 1980, that I worked as a civilian interpreter for 21,000 wild and crazy Cuban refugees at Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville, PA from 5/15/80-10/10/80). Most interesting job I ever had, hired by FEMA on May 18 (same day that Mt St Helens blew its top), may have only been $5.41 an hour, but Rita's jumping around reminded me of several of the chicas & mujeres who danced like that when notified they had been sponsored out of the camp to commence their new lives in America, a far cry from the Communist existence they left behind in Cuba. I thought I had seen just about every episode of the Match Game series with Gene Rayburn, but I just this episode for the first time and it's The All Time Great Winner! ! ! Not to mention the best dressed male conetstant/winner also. My son's been after me for 4 decades to write a book about what went on inside the ropes between Area 3 & Area 14 at "The Gap", but I always tell Christopher that no one would believe it, would read more like fiction, but I will always remember it! And Rita, you still look AMAZING ! ! !
