My mom is listening to Matchbox 20, I come from 90s/2000s pop punk. But I appreciate every single person that is listening to music with instruments. Strange to say something like this because for me if youre Talking about music it implies that that there are instruments included. But well music has died since a decade. Thank God that youre not one of the people that are listening to Rap, äh I mean C(Rap).

Using this song in the movie was an inspired choice. If you think about the character arc of Ken and then really think about the lyrics--and especially if you know Rob Thomas' intentions--it's actually quite sublime.

Summer of ‘97.... I turned 15 in August that year and this song will forever take me back. Legit was the last summer truly being a kid,. I grew so much in all aspects that summer. Went from riding bikes to our buddies and daily nonsense to chasing girls, first legit g/f, parties... just a social explosion. - I ran in to this former g/f recently and told her this song will always remind me of her. - 24 years ago.... seemingly another lifetime.... so much has happened since... yet this song is forever cemented in time and into my memory to a time when the world seemed so much slower and we had our whole lives in front of us.... I always have and always will stop and turn up the volume when I hear them start to play those first few chords. Always.

A song about a man with issues who refuses to give into real, true love. His loss.

What is true love anyways? There are different kinds of love, there's a love you have for a dad, a mom, brothers and sisters, and friends, a significant other? You put all these loves together, give it to one person and expect not to get hurt? WOW! Unless, you offer that kind of love to Jesus. Seriously. I mean, that's God, and that's how to love.

@@lisaross3894 totally agree, it's said, I think the greatest deception was..........."changing the translation of the 1611." Ugh........well, the faith becomes unsteady, and unsteardy'. You know "One mind, one body, one accord.".

You are a brave and persevering person. Admitting our faults is how we can set ourselves FREE. Even praying from your heart and meaning it to pray for your enemies. Keep jammin'! God bless you. In Jesus Name. Amen.
