Stop with the PTSD stuff. Seems 90% of the world has PTSD these days. Dont ever use it as a crutch. I suffer from severe Panic Disorder and I do take meds pr it cripples me. I never ever use it to my advantage. I just move forward with life.

Why would you say she is using it to her advantage for PTSD? How would that ever be an advantage? Panic and anxiety is awful and clearly you have to take meds as you mentioned to just get through life as well. We can't judge each other for that. I have listened to Matchbox 20 since they came out and have always appreciated the wonderful lyrics and this song in particular I heard today when I needed to hear it.

I’m probably a good bit older than most people who post here, but I’ve been a MB20 fan since discovering them, too late, only two years ago (I normally don’t listen to much made since the early 70s). I find this song speaks to me the way some songs did back then. I suspect that Rob wrote it about relationships but I see it as a cogent, even if accidental, allegory about the times in which we all live; the economy and a very uncertain future. It is uplifting in that respect.
