I always thought that Brett was s scream. Super funny.. knew when to slow down and speed up. She was a broad, and I mean that in the best way possible, but a lot of people weren't used to that. She knew it and didn't try to be something she wasn't. She certainly played perfectly off both Charles and Gene with great skill.. a great pillar of the show.. I liked her a lot.

One of our commentators said mass murderer, and still a nice person. And I was thinking, serial killer! I met ONE once and probably met a lot of them but, he was really kind of nice to me. They had them on the news once they caught him, there was a guy that was following me and I happened to tell him and they found that guy dead to Ali’s down from my house! When I told him about it the next day, he said well you never know he might’ve been killed by the drug dealers or something. He act like he did not surprise him at all. He killed eight women, and he was on TV giving an interview and he said like if he holds the door open for a girl to walk into the mall and she doesn’t say thank you. He would stalk her and kill her ! He said the same for driving to go ahead and she doesn’t wait thank you would stalk her and kill her! He looked pretty creepy. He was very nice to me. But, he did mention that there was a girl because he asked him would you ever consider not killing , another girl. And he said, That has a friend that has a little boy. As she’s always been very kind and nice to him and always gave him hugs he said that was me!!!

Yeah, Mary Ann Mobley is a laugher. This isn't the first time she's had a laughing fit during a stint on the show, she seems to have at least one every week she's on. What ruined this show at times was you had stars that tried to write answers that were funny but connected to the question because they also WANTED the contestants to win as much money as possible. But then you had the self consumed idiots who were more concerned with their careers and staying funny and would write answers not even remotely close to what the contestants said. Plus you had the ditzy air heads down in the lower right like Ann or Kaye Stevens with their fake, insufferable, prolonged laughing/giggling to stuff simply not that funny. It could have been even better a show than it was if not for those people. Then of course we cant forget the stars that simply didnt get the show at all and consistantly came up with the dumbest wrong answers.

@ChaChiVooDoo. Patti Deutsch was a pro at doing that... more concerned at being funny than matching the contestant. I sometimes wonder if the producers wanted it that way, with some panelists. Now Betty White was a much better "seat six" panelist than Deutsch. Betty said a funny quip about the "blank"/answer, then, would more often than not, show her card and match the contestant... BIG DIFFERENCE.

The men picked Richard at a higher rate too. That's why the producers eventually went to the star wheel so it would be random. Dawson considered that a slight. He said that in an interview not long before his death.

This is the second episode I've come across, where Mary Ann Mobley was laughing hysterically. I couldn't figure out what she was laughing at, and I noticed that the other celebrities barely reacted. She might been Miss America, but she was also a jerk. Who really wants to listen to someone cackling the way she did? Ann Elder, in my opinion, was much more attractive, and she conducted herself with dignity.
