I always wondered why it was not mandatory for fighters to wear gloves of the same colour. I believe there are statistics out there that show more frequent losses for brighter gloves. The peripheral vision and neural networks recognise these brighter colours easier and respond quicker. It's the reason that workers wear high vis clothing in hazardous workplaces.

still does make a sleight difference if you cant make a full fist it will break your hand or make your wrist bend. i have had quite a few pairs of gloves over my life and some just feel awful even if they are the same size they can be too tight, loose or just to short for longer fingers to wrap. also some of the gloves feel harder on the surface and some feel more spongy to protect. non one glove is made perfectly the same and when your a bigger guy it can really hurt your hands or shoulders from the force if the padding is not right and they dont fit.

Yes but gloves are very important and do have an effect on the one on the receiving end and they make a difference. Being hit by punchers gloves isn't the same as being hit by pillow gloves assuming that both guys have comparable power. Punchers gloves do more damage but offer less protection to the one using them whereas pillow gloves are very protective but do less damage.

If you've ever boxed you'll know that glove choice is very important,especially if you have big hand,the position of the padding and fit/feel of the glove has to be right,a glove that's to short or tight will actually stop you making a proper fist and your punches wont feel like there landing square and can actually hurt your hands,a glove needs to feel like its tailor made for your hand,remember,his hands will be heavily wrapped before he puts his gloves on,AJ looked like he could hardly get his hand into some of those gloves,there all probably slightly different fits and sizes,Usyk might have just got lucky with his first pair he tried on,when a glove is right,you almost know straight away,so give AJ a break,he was right to try them all to be sure
