I like these matchups a lot! Keep them coming. What is the problem with Yukon?
@zeroskatr122 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying them. Yukon is the only map where a melee fighter has to constantly move 6 spaces in order to reach an opponent who is running around the big loop on the red/purple side. Some fighters can't move that far at all due to low base movement and low boost values. Which means the opponent will never get attacked again and automatically wins if they are ahead in the exhaustion game. Even fighters who can move 6 can usually only do it a limited number of times. So it can become a pretty degenerate fatigue strategy in certain matchups.

I love your gameplays and thoughts about heroes, just amazing how you calculate the odds, what your opponent may have in his hand. However I found these videos a bit long. Have you thought about splitting them apart and upload it in smaller chunks, like episodes? Like, analysis of hero 1, hero 2, etc? Maybe if someone is interested in analysis of a particular hero would help them to find it. Just asking.
@zeroskatr122 ай бұрын
@rekasil well each matchup is its own episode. But I do put the timestamps for all of those sections as you're referring to in the description, so you should be able to easily skip to the game 1 or game 2 as you'd like!

@@zeroskatr12 Np, it's ok. Thanks for the response! Just recently someone on our local board game site asked about analysis of characters, and I recommended your channel. These matchups are great, I really enjoy your thoughts about the game and plays. I didn't want to recommend this or that hero because personally, I can't play all heroes equally, some just don't work for me. E.g. Elektra, I just hate her minions :). Or, I really wanted to like Jekyll & Hyde, but somehow I can't max it out. My favorites are Beowulf, Achilles and Bloody Mary. But Hamlet seems also very interesting, have to play him more.

Love the strategy part very insightful. but i find the music during the games very distracting, especially bc its about the same volume as you guys, it gets louder once you stop talking making it an uncomfortable experience to listen to. Marios Star theme was what made me write this comment it is the definition of „go crazy go hard“ music and not all Fitting for a strategy game. I can live with more ambient music like the one at 49:30, would still love to have it turned down a good amount.

@@zeroskatr12 it’s not necessary to spoiler all the tier list. I just want to know what a competitive player thinks about Moon Knight. He became my favourite Hero and I have a lot of fun with him. Sad to see you go out early in the SOL tourney. I believe you're still the best UM player in the world. Would you consider doing a breakdown of your match with Baked Goods? What about a tier list vid?

Hey thanks. Yeah I was sad to break my streak of consistent top 8, but top 16 is still decent. And I'll be back with a vengeance next time! I'm definitely going to do a new tier list in the near future. Not sure I'll have time for a match breakdown, but that would be quite interesting.

That's awesome stuff. Thank you a lot zero. It's much closer than I expected. Nice explanation of specific interactions of the cards. nice job! I realy love this format. - I don't think you need to explain character's cards in the start of the video. I see your point Why you are doing that. But everyone's who need it can just check either your's or BakedGoods video about particular character and found all info there. You can just attach the link and it would be ok. For me such format seems more for advanced players than beginers. So I just skiped 30 minutes in the start. I might have missed smth intresting there. But... I've already known their cards XD - I would like to have closer analysis of the maps. It's dificult to overestimate the influence of map in this game. You have small talk regarding maps in the end but also would be nice to rise it as a separate block where we can check it closer. I think it might make your analysis deaper - I hadn't seen those games with Chad on your twitch before and it was much more intresting to me to watch this video. - Does Chad have a twitch? Definitely, we need more content from Chad! thank you for your work. that's smashing
@zeroskatr122 жыл бұрын
Great I'm glad you're enjoying it! And I really appreciate the thorough feedback. - I figured some (if not most) people would skip the deck analysis portion if they already know the decks. But for beginners it would be nice to be able to watch from start to finish and follow along without having to do any further research. But you make a good point saying that this may be more of an advanced player video. So I think I will put out a poll to see if most people want to skip the deck analysis or not. - Also I could maybe add a map section. That's really hard though without having tested the matchups on all different maps. Though I could still give my personal predictions on what would be good, or what to look out for. - Chad does not stream on Twitch, but he does have his own KZbin channel! I will link it here for you, and also I will start adding it to the video descriptions for each of these episodes. kzbin.info/door/tDZ0IivDRU_J_cfhvcq66w Thanks again for your feedback and support!

@@zeroskatr12 - yeah I mean you can just leave the link for beginners. BakedGoods has a nice series of strategy guides video where you can find any character in details. You also have some. Again I see your point... But for me you are trying to put everything in a single video and just wasting your time for that. That's not a big deal to me just to skip those section including you added timelines But just difficult to imagine persone watching particular matchup without knowing those characters. IDK - yeah. too few videos from Chad :) tell him we wanna more XD
@EliteBadFrog2 жыл бұрын
@@front_ed169 In my opinion, zero handles it very well with the timestamps he put in, you can just click the timestamp to skip to the match. Maybe a disclaimer before he starts explaining decks to say “if you want to skip it the match starts at …” I really like the short explanations before the match ups, and they are also explained in the context of the match up, you talk about Baked Goods vids, but they are like 30 min to 45 min long as well so it is less practical to do it that way imo.

Aw yeah definitely feels bad man. That scheme is the most important card in his deck. Without it he just can't put on the pressure he needs because he will need to take double maneuver turns to reload his hand much more often.
