I'd use a screw on inflator so you can stand back form the wheels, split wheels are notorious for coming apart. My shop not only has screw on inflators but also a tire cage, But also ours are much higher pressure tires, Corporate jets.

@@MooseStacheFlyer we had one off a Bonanza that the tech didnt torque to bolts, and had only half in, wheel failed around the bolts at 30 lbs, wheel half hit hanger roof.

@@MooseStacheFlyer Yeah He didn't work after that violated safety protocols, Didn't have all the bolts in and torqued properly and didn't use the wheel cage. It was interesting to see how it failed though, the bolts didn't fail, the wheel material failed around the bolts.

Yeah you still have a beard after this one. The yellow mark on the tire, if there is one, indicates the point of lightest weight, should be aligned with the valve stem on the wheel. I also used some CA cyanoacrylate on those spacers for the calipers to hold them in places while trying to get all the norlock washers in place. I use to mount kart tires, and I have a clip on valve air nozzle with a 4 foot hose with a quick connect on the other end. That way I could put the tire around the corner of my garage door in case the tires or wheel exploded. The Kart tires took a scary amount of pressure to mound and would often jump a few feet in the air when the bead set.
