I switched from the snapon flez head to that soft handle matco flex head and I barley touch the snapon one, also have that longer regular handle flex head too. Best ratchets imo

Matco is the only way to go! That’s the blow gun kit I have . 10 years and still going ..also the 16v ratchets are great! I have the 1/4 and 3/8 .. Awesome new truck Michael!

Mike matco seems like a wonderful tool guy. its a great thing to see hes done well enough to need a bigger truck!!! congrats mike!!! i got a kick out of the little so called prybars you showed p/n#mpbs. i bought them from my snappy dealer a few years ago.. if you use these things for other than a coffee stir, they will break!! Now, the new mini pocket prybars are the shit!!! i love them. i bought them from my matco guy around 4 monthes ago! (green) i wish matco would engrave their name on their tools because the black print matco name on my mini pry bars is now gone. cheers clay!!

It would be interesting to hear your or Bill's thoughts on Matco's cordless ratchets. When looking on ebay and other online used market places for used cordless ratchets, Snap-on and Milwaukee can be found with no problem. Matco cordless ratchets you may see a couple pop up for sale here and there. You hardly see any Mac, a.k.a Dewalt, cordless ratchets show up on the used market. Not sure if just people don't like the Matco or Mac ratchets. I'm still bummed out that the Matco cordless impact gun could not hold its own, when you and Jyoung did the cordless impact shootout a few months ago. Good video!!!!

I've no idea who makes Matco ratchets, but if I had a Matco guy, I'd only have those. I used a former co workers and his was better than any I've used. I'd bring my snapon, gear wrench, and tekton home. Lol

I’m pretty sure their contract was with Armstrong, but then Gear Wrench bought out Armstrong and Gear Wrench builds everything over seas (Taiwan or China mainland). However the new Matco metal handles are still made in USA? So maybe same plant as always just new name on the building?

Man matco has some awesome stuff. We have a matco guy but he rarely comes around. If he was consistent I would buy from him regularly. Since he's not, none of my shop really buys much from him, making a shitty cycle since he won't come every week if people aren't buying. His loss I guess. Another great video clay. As a newer diesel tech, I always appreciate your channel.

Call him up and try to buy some stuff from him. Just talk to him and tell him because he doesn’t come regular that’s why you don’t buy. Most of them are good guys and will work with you. Lots have pissy attitudes because honestly most mechanics have attitudes and are dicks, plus they have tried to cheat the Tool man or skip out on paying so they have to keep their guard up. Just talk with the guy and be straight with him. Can’t hurt anything.

Man that’s what I would love to have. When I was shopping for one even on the site I couldn’t find a top box for a revel x and I have to have a top box, I’m tired of several boxes and I want one big box but Matco doesn’t push them and many people don’t even know they have hutches because no dealer ever displays them with hutch on trucks cause there’s not room. Matco should seriously think about having displays set up or even doing a toolbox truck like snap on has to show off the options and configurations they can offer

Hey Clay. Would it be possible to look at the scrapers? CSS2 and CGSS2A. Maybe ask Michael what the difference is between these 2? Besides the green and red handles and the foam for the green.
