Depression definitely kills in more ways than one. It's a devastating issue. You never know what anyone goes through sometimes.

Man, you are so correct. My fiancee of 12 years killed herself in 2020. I'm still shocked and devastated. I believe exactly what you said: You cannot control or predict these things. I should correct myself. There were signs of this possibility. I chose not to believe that it was possible. I thought that our love would overcome any of that thinking. Ha ha. I was a dick. I don't know what else to do, but respond to posts like this. It'll be 3 years in March, and I still feel like it was yesterday. I'm not someone that you need to worry about. Everyone thought that I might follow in her footsteps, but that would never happen. I like living. But I miss her so much.

CD92.9 introduced me to this band today on the radio after a lengthy discussion with someone about depression. I've dealt with it for over 30 years now. In order to fight it, you must acknowledge the darkness in yourself. Otherwise you'll never be able to pull away from it and focus on that glimmer of light in your life.

This track belongs in an episode of Homicide: Life On The Street, it really does. Why did that never happen?? (For those who don't know Homicide, hunt it down and watch every episode - except the shitty final series 7 - and you will have watched one of the finest police shows ever made.....with one of the finest soundtracks. I reckon you'll then see why I'm saying this song should have featured in that brilliant show.)
