thanks a lot, your updates are always impressive. the fact that you can scale and move decals and masks from the shader editor directly via an empty controller on the object is an ingenious solution. I can recommend to buy this addon and also the cg thougts Fluent addon. The updates are always outstanding. Thanks for your work

If you want to add your own custom decals or decals purchased from elsewhere when applying decals using Rudy's Mess, Fluent: Materializer, you need to place the decal image files in the appropriate folder on your computer. The folder where you should place the decal image files depends on the operating system you are using and the location where you have installed the Materializer add-on. Typically, you can find the folder location by navigating to the Materializer add-on installation folder and then locating the "Decals" subfolder. You should then copy your decal image files into this subfolder. Once you have copied your decal image files into the appropriate folder, you can access them from within Materializer by selecting the "Decals" tab in the Materializer window and then clicking the "Import" button to add the new decals to the list of available decals.

Super Rudy ! Merci pour le tuto. L'inclusion des décals dans les nodes, suivi d'un bake peut etre effectivement très utile

Hey Rudy, I bought this when it first came out and I have a question. Does it work with animating?
@clausbohm98072 жыл бұрын
Can you animate or turn on/off during animation? Like creating a laser scar mark (smudge blend) on a space ship after an attack.

Hello, I want to ask two questions. Firstly Can I bake different textures on an object? Secondly can i bake textures on different objects as a single texture

Merci :)
@CGThoughts2 жыл бұрын

Just bought the addon and it's great. Would it be possible to add the "Probability" (like in the scratches node) to the Dented node?
@aloner_wolf87332 жыл бұрын
Oh wait... Maybe using local mask could give the control over where the dents are placed... 😅
@CGThoughts2 жыл бұрын
@@aloner_wolf8733 You can use the local mask output combined with the dented result. Combine with a multiply node.

I have a question before buy it: can it mix displacement?
@CGThoughts2 жыл бұрын
The current mix layer, doesn't mix displacement map. It mixes color, metallic, roughness, normal, emission.
@neeo99492 жыл бұрын
@@CGThoughts Are there any plans for displacement map? it's almost a hard requirement.
@CGThoughts2 жыл бұрын
Currently no because you are the first to ask. Can you give an example, a case in which this feature could be useful ?
@neeo99492 жыл бұрын
@@CGThoughts The answer is simple, cuz substance 3d painter and quixel mixer have it. Displacement is necessary if I need to mix detailed terrain textures and get out of those two softwares.
