"Arch" is a prefix meaning you are above whatever you're prefixing. "Archmage" is above mage, "archangel" is above angel. So arch duke must be plenty of steps above duke

You have a lot of really good writing and voice acting to look forward to. The companion quests made me cry at least three times (I won‘t say why of course). Larian did kind of stick to the original when it comes to the overwhelming number of NPCs and side quests in the city of Baldur‘s Gate. Btw, Astarion’s ‚Don‘t touch me‘ is a reference to BG1 noble NPCs.

Yeah, there's some real tearjerkers in Act 3. Such great storytelling through and through. As for voice acting, they're all brilliant in their unique way, love the cast dearly!

For reference, you could have talked to the refugees when dealing with Arfur, that was the other option to the intimidation one, which would have opened some more options with them all, you’re offering to help the situation, not necessarily help him in ejecting the refugees. It may just be worded strangely.

"...my last experience with the drow twins..." hehehe, can't wait for Welonz to find out what this is really about lmao Arfur is such pathetic character, really, so even if the refugees weren't right to simply take his house, he deserves nothing but disdain for his coward actions. I also hate to disarm stuff, this is the only part in BG3 that 100% feels pure grinding; at least when you lockpick things you do it in wonder of a new exciting loot.

Hey Welonz! Now that you are done with Act 2, I recommend watching the bg3 cast playing dnd on the High Rollers channel. There is some content from that actual play that was added as a reference in the game. Also, you get to see the cast interact and do some fun improv around the table it's hilarious! There are other instances as well like the one they did recently in the Shadow cursed land which was also really good. None of them have spoilers beyond act 2.

Excuse me, cats strongly disagree about this discriminative statement. Cats first, then food for cats, then toys for cats, then beds for cats, etc. People? Merely slaves, pfff. Dogs? Belong to Nine Hells, of course, nasty creatures!

Wow hey, the refugees are asking to give a place to stay not that the house is theirs; if it was a normal citizen with a regular home I understand but this guy is super rich and probably has a bunch of mansions

It's so immersion breaking how NPCs don't react to the summons! They should be running away from that earth elemental or getting stepped on.
@dylan_hearts2 сағат бұрын
Some things are meant to be convenient for player's ability to go though game smoothly rather than implementing stuff for immersion which breaks it anyway as you have to reload game cause the town is afraid of your summons. So it's better this way as it is now.

WHY CAN'T YOU SAY TO THE CATS THAT THEY'RE GOOD CATS ?
@dylan_hearts2 сағат бұрын
Cause they already know that and don't need some peasants to affirm it. Cats do not have a low esteem. Leave it to the dogs.

Using unreasonably huge locations to house refugees is absolutely reasonable during a crisis.
@FlameHidden26 минут бұрын
I agree but it still unlawful if not done through the proper channels. The rich deserve the stick up their butts, but I am not gonna be a hypocrite and say that I open my house to the homeless. I would ask for government compensation, and thus regulation, because I fought and paid a buttload to said government so that my shit is my shit. I know the rich struggle less, but the space they paid and pay for is still theirs. Either if I am rich or poor, if you didn't ask for permission, I'd be furious

10:32 - I just remembered how one of the hardest "charisma" checks in the first Mass Effect was convincing some random bureaucratic drone not to throw his life away obeying his company's ridiculous orders. He was annoying, but I like it when fairly unimpressive NPCs can surprise me like that! 23:06 - ...So, um, does anyone know when that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is coming out?
