My first PreCal teacher in HS was old and didn’t know how to teach young people. We all suffered through it. She retired early half way through the school year and we got a very young teacher to replace her. We all did fantastic after that. Everything started making sense.

I went to one of most prestigious (i.e. job guaranteeing) CS courses in my parts, and 1st semester was: algorithms and 3 separate math subjects. The fundamentals, including logic, set theory, Peano axioms etc., linear algebra (groups, bodies, calculating e.g. how many functions can be declared that convert given body to another, and calculus. I got best-in-class for algorithms, but failed all three other subjects and flunked xDDD

This also makes generating the "perfect"(worst?) face easier, as the optimal face is already in the dense face encoded format(just forward to decode layer of autoencoder). It's really quite simple.

For the issue with the goat head you could start with a pre-trained model off hugging face and further train the model on public datasets of photos and have it check for the goat head and excludes the other plants on the yard. You could have the camera hooked up to something like a raspberry pi making api called to a home computer that is running the algorithm assuming you are able to keep all of them on the same WiFi. Chat gpt 4o should be able to walk you through it.

I support the teacher theory! I was a big math nerd at school and often tried to help other sew the math the way I saw it. 48:55 I'm pretty sure at CES this year John Deer showed of ALMOST the exact idea William had. They showed a new AI fertilizer/herbicide applicator that would use AI to detect plants it passes over and then sprays them with either herbicide or fertilizer depending on if it was your crop or a weed. And like the AI was able to make the distinction in like 1/2 a second or something like that because the idea is to pull the whole thing with a tractor then it can cover like 10 rows of crops at once. That way you can save money on fertilizer and you aren't fertilizing weeds.

The hardest part of getting CRISPR to work is getting things to work. The journey to get a gene to be chopped out using new genes and primers gets VERY expensive if you're unlucky as the PCR temp recomendations are usually never close enough. Also on fursuits ive seen some realistic fur suits for sale but usually theyre like 2-3k for just a headpeice.

Regarding the AI calls, I got a call from google to revise some information about my business opening hours. If it hadn't told me at the start of the call that it was an AI I was talking to I would have not recognized it as such AT ALL, it was ridiculously realistic. it responded to my questions, it stopped talking if I talked over it. it was crazy good.
