Thank you all for the kind words, it's very appreciated, I really hope everyone enjoys the update, I'm going to take a little bit of a break from the modding, and play the game when I'm not at work for awhile, but I already have plans for my next update, manual fire lasers, EM weapons and particle beams and more that I'm not ready to share are coming in the not too distant future, probably about ~7-8 weeks from now. I'll still be posting videos though, likely will start posting videos of me playing the game.

Slight issue with the new update.... on the big bridge you cant get up from your seat in space anymore...prompts for [B] to exit the seat works and the hud changes regular hud with weapons and health bar etc..but are trapped in the seat unless you quick travel to a planet...now when landed on a planet it works fine...but in space no dice....

Eric, we all love your stuff. Please don't make the disastrous decision to do what Derretech did and force folks to buy your modules from a central place. With the sloped ramp topper I can finally get rid of Derretech entirely. I've just been using him for a sloped structure module and now I can replace it. Thank you so much

The sliding doors on the elevator are so much nicer/less intrusive than the vanilla doors. Cannot understand why Bethesda went with the chunky two doors rather than sticking with one type which would of allowed for habs to be flipped 90 degrees.

I love these videos, reminds me of old school Halo 3 vidocs to show progress. I’m extremely eager to see these and can’t wait, more specifically for the bridge since there aren’t that many good ones vanilla or Xbox mods I like. Thanks for the hard work bro!!! The exit capns seat during space flight is broke on cloud/console... I know you dont play console so you cant test, but aside from that its much nicer, the fog removal is awesome and the nave mesh so my companions dont just stare at a wall or stay in the 1 vanilla hab i hace anymore.. and i really love how your updates dont wipe my build!!!!

I would try removing my mod and re-installing, or possibly moving it in your load order, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to exit the captains seat.

This Mod is amazing. Can’t believe how good they look. I know paid Mods cause some bad feelings but I personally would rather pay you for these Mods than grind for hours to generate the in game currency it takes to use them. $$$$

Here's a hint, take any vanilla ship and simply add a MA Security hab to it, nothing else, now enter the ship, go into the security hab, and into the small security office in the hab, there is a shelf on one side with a small chest, open that chest, take the contents and now you can go build the ship you want, and if you still don't have enough, just re-add the security deck to the ship, and repeat until you do. ;)

Will you increase the power output on your engines and lower the power useage from 3 to 2, specifically the engines that open up when in use and close when not in use? One thing I'd request for the next update. Do you think you could go for softer lighting in your Habs? StroudEckland hab lighting always fit with pretty much everything else, and it would be a way to deal with the shift from base game habs into yours. Not sure if that would be an easy swap. If not, disregard, it's not that important.

Watch my latest video to hear about elevators, and as for the stairs, I've already tried 4 side version, but they don't work on more than a 2 floor staircase, the ceiling/floor levels are just too close together, and you and your npc's will hit your heads on the ceiling trying to go up the second flight of stairs unable to get to the 3rd floor, that's why the 3 and 4 story stairs are setup with the switchback style stairs and only 3 exits, so that you can continue to go up, but that mid platform on the switchback is too close to the ceiling to have a walkable platform to get through a door on that side.

Updating is still very broken. Select Matilija from the creation menu, delete it then redownload it. Exit and close the game. Open the game and it should have successfully forced the update.

There is a bug in creations where the update button doesn't work, it will say it updates, but it's not actually updating, you need to delete the mod and re-download it to update it.

@@lyloweii9905 It shouldn't, but best practice for all mods, when updating, is make sure you have no references from the mod in the save file prior to updating. I recommend deleting and re-installing the new update only after you have gone through the unity into a new universe before you have any references from the mod in your save file, and or when you start a new game. That way, nothing can break.

Absolutely loving your creations. The big guns have saved my ass a number of times now. My only problem is putting windows on any ship hab now isn't working I can place them but can't see out of them. Not sure if it's your mods or place doors but if you or anyone else has a solution I would appreciate it thank you

The windows issue might be my mod, I use a custom STBH for my doorways, and it might have something wrong with it, I'm looking into it.

Lets play devil's advocate and give a ramp topper a rea or fore door with facing top hatch for acessing the floor above

Couldn't work, the ladder would clip through the floor of the ramp below and out into space. I could potentially make crosshabs that could be stacked with ladder access, but that would be something I would consider down the road, not right away.

If you click the update button on creations it doesn't work, you need to uninstall the mod completely and re-install for the update to actually work. Before doing so, I recommend you remove any ship parts from earlier versions from the mod from your ships due to the file structure change to avoid problems.

Absolutely Amazing! I really don't do any playthrough without it. You are spending days on your mods wothout payment and they are better than every paid mod. Probs for that. But after the last Update the new Habs don't show up and the security hab is invisible. I have your mod, Tiger shipyards, Better ship part flips, PDY and the patches. Anyone else having that problems?

If you are on console, or using the creations version, please delete the mod and redownload it, there is a bug with creations where it won't properly update. If that still doesn't work, you may need to try starting a new game to see if that fixes the issues, unfortunately my 3.01 update broke quite a few things, and while 4.0 resolves them, it also may require a restart, or at least a fresh unity playthrough to properly function, I can't verify one way or the other as I'm not having issues on my end.

@matilija ok, bare with me hear - no snaps for PORT FORE or PORT ALT - also an odd scaffolding snap behavior with: Alternate Scaffolding PORT FORE "only" connects to Alt Scaffolding PORT (but can't connect to any other pieces). And Alternate Scaffolding PORT AFT can only connect to Alt Scaffolding PORT FORE and nothing elses (All the above also applies to the WIDE Scaffolding categories) Also have an issues with collision issues with Aerospace Small Mid Top Nose. And a collision issue with all three of the Aerospace ArmorPlate's I have a few more but I LOVE your stuff and I don't want to be that "guy" :)

Absolutely love the mods, best looking ship mods in my opinion. On that note... Anyone having grav jump crashing? My Xbox s does not like the amount of Matilija habs I have!!! I've built same length and size only 62 by 47 with normal habs no problem jumping. Soon as I try with my beautiful Matilija ship it crashes the game on reload 😢. Not sure what to do. Works fine in orbit, landing, and take off. Soon as I come out of grav jump game freezes 😢

This can happen anytime you change something mid game, I recommend if you downloading through creations, to delete the mod and re-install it to update, because the update button on creations is broken, it downloads the new archive, but doesn't update the esm which can lead to really weird problems.

@@matilija I did have version 3 uninstalled and I am using Creations on PC. When I uninstalled version 4, the missing body parts were no longer happening. I'll give it another shot, let you know what I see. I do like the mods you made, not here to give you a hard time.

@@jonbutcher5593 Fantastic to hear, but from what I've read over the past few days, missing body parts can occur randomly even on an un-modded game, sometimes simply reloading will resolve, though I can't really confirm nor deny those claims.

@@matilija I've seen it before as well, sorry for throwing under the bus. I would reload my video card driver prior to this. Reloading the mod and game cleared it up.
