The more I see Geller's games the more I am falling in love with his style of play. This one against Petrosisn & no less has been most impressive, I must say.

If someone not sure against king indian defense, never move knight from white king side and if is posible change black squares bishops! Petrosyan mistake in this game is leaving black bishop to go back! Move f5 from black will be in any case in some moment, better to he and peon on e5 not have suport from bishop and create weakness on black squares around black king! Great serria about Geller, thank you Mato!

In my opinion the Petrosian variation is kinda dangerous , because there is always a strong attack launched by black on the king's side, I have really bad results with it

You must to study petrosian games in that lines and you will find the idea's behind it. Look one book from petrosian chess on top or something. There are a chapter were petrosian explain the move Bg5 y analisis KID lineas y his ideas

Beating the great Petrosian is sufficient proof of Geller's quality . You’ve made your point MJ.

An inauspicious debut by Petrosian of his system, but a nice presentation by Mato.

There goes another bigwig ... no less than Iron Tigran, overwhelmed in a King's Indian defense. Geller's tactful play must be extolled; his imperious ploughing shredded White's untenable king's castle.

A devastating attack! The King's Indian in its classical variation and close relatives, gives the Kingside to Black...and few are the masters of defense who can endure the pressure!
