There is a strange and temporary error at 01:28 - whilst the wite c pawn takes en passant, the black queen's pawn is disappearing

Keep up the good work, Mato. You are the best.

When Petrosian sacrifices a piece against you, might as well resign :]

Thanks Mato. I have often wondered where you get your accent from? Thanks a lot for the videos.

***** Sorry, but an obsession with with chess is clearly indicated by the coat of arms of a neighbouring country near Serbia.

@ 5:48..what exactly was the purpose of rook to f4? Was it merely to open up space for a king retreat?

how come you never cover games that draw? I find that those can be just as constructive although it is more difficult to find critical points in the game and defend those choices.

How come you ask this question without looking at all the videos that I uploaded?

The draws would make a wonderful playlist, but it'd be a lot of work to construct. And also, it's always a cool surprise when a draw occurs or even when the player on the bottom doesn't win.

Can someone explain to me why the killer move is a killer move? With the RC7, if black did NG7, couldn't black be saved?

Finding the killer move is always satisfying...

If I didn't know better, I'd think this was a Tal game :) great game by Petrosian.

at 6:15 can't black move rook from f4 to h4? threatening both the white knight and rook?
@LePingouin929 жыл бұрын
Not quite, If Rh4, then Nf6+ followed by RxR.. i think
@willmiller59 жыл бұрын
Saw the killer move, not the complicated follow up though.

the most interesting position? in my opinion half of petrosian's moves during this game are the most interesting moves of the game.

What about Knight to H5 instead of the killer move?
@palewine9 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking too.

I don't see the threat of Nh5.

Stockfish says Nh5 is a good move but prefers Rxg8

i just don't get at after sacrificing the rook and Rh1 black can play Rf7 making room for king and also protecting the pawn is there is wrong with that bacause that what i will play in that situation and Tigran is better than me so can any one solve it for me

Why doesn't white take the pawn on c6 at 4:14? If then black rook takes the white rook, it leads to a win for white.

I hate how they resign everytime. These videos show the pre-game, mid-game but never finish. They should just play it through for educational purposes or to at least congratulate their opponent.
