At 12:59 when Ollie says “we’re together”, MatPat mood changes and he gets emotional. I can just imagine there’s nothing better than doing what you love together as a family. It’s been 8 months since he posted his 10 year anniversary and MatPat is not slowing down. Love everything MatPat does for us, the viewers. He filled the gap in my heart that I never knew I had and I’m so grateful it’s above words. I know MatPat can’t see this but I hope him good luck in the future and as long as he bes himself, does what he loves, me and all the viewers will support him until he day the channel ends.

I just want to point how, once Ollie and Steph show up, Matts mood really shifts when Ollie says "We're together now." He literally turns away from the two of them and closes his eyes like hes trying not to start absolute bawling his eyes out, but the cake gets him turned back to them and Steph pulls him into the hug he both needed and deserved. Thank you *so* much, Matt. You've made this world just that much better for millions of people. Thank you.

No joke, full seriousness, Game Theory actually stopped me from committing suicide. I was at one of the lowest lows in my life, middle school sucked, I was being tormented by both friends and teachers, and I was seriously contemplating ending it all, but then I saw a Game Theory (it was the one about Minecraft's Wither) and I realized how much I had to live for. The Game Theory/The Game Theorists taught me to be okay with my unique interests, despite all the bullying I faced for said interests. my siblings and I grew up watching the channel and it became one of the pillars of ours and many others' childhoods. we would not be the same without the channel that made us laugh and smile, even with traumatic experiences, even with loss, even with so much bad in the world. MatPat became a role model of mine, someone that has encouraged me to never give up on my aspirations and dreams and to fight for a better society. as someone who faces occasional depression and had a time in their life where giving up was all I wanted to do, The Game Theorists never failed to make those moments a little bit brighter. the channel gave me a place to feel welcome to express my opinions without the worry of facing judgment for my interests; when I have interests, I'm very passionate about them and really enjoy debating such topics, so seeing the community the channel built for people like me has really changed my life for the better. people like MatPat also made me feel a lot better about being an emotional person. I got bullied for crying a lot, even over small things, and seeing clips like this remind me that my emotions are valid and honest, and that I just process my feelings differently. I hope that when people come across The Game Theorists, they also learn these lessons and grow to be wonderful people. I hope that people know it's okay to lean on people and sources of entertainment to cope with their feelings. :) edit: I forgot to mention how the education system has left me feeling extremely hopeless, because as someone of the Autistic community, I feel so lost, because school hasn't been made for people like me. I've learned so much from The Game Theorists and I'm so grateful. videos like theirs make me feel better about my learning struggles.

Thank you so much for your comment I can really relate to some of the things you said I have such great memories watching game theory even on the worst days of my life and some of his theories can be really emotional and he to help me get in touch with my emotions I also struggle in school as well i think i might have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) ( if you don't know what it is essentially you have a hard time focusing and organizing and also really hyperactive and your mind can get really cloudy make it really hard to focus at school) it's just hard to get my attention with educational things but matpat makes it interesting By connecting it to popular video game characters like Signs of Mario being sociopath how much force does it take for an animatronic to bite a child or discovering the science behind video game enemies Matpat has made a big giant impact on not only the internet but the world.

When all is said and done. Matt fulfilled his dream hundreds of times over. He'll never meet most of us, he'll never know our stories but one thing he will know is that he is one of the kindest people this world has to offer. If we have any chance to give someone as much hope and love that Matt has given us, we'll take that chance. I was ashamed to be a geek for Greek mythology and gaming for so long. I gave up piano and archery, all because it didn't fit in the box people put me in. But after watching game theory for so long. I've regained what I lost. I've said screw the cage and embraced what I loved. My dad bought me a bow and I'm relearning the piano. I write about mythology all the time and still tune into every gtlive episode and watch every theory. Matt and Steph gave me a home. They gave us a home. Now I see people struggle with their own boxes, and I do what they did for me. It may not be much, but if I can give that love to someone, pass it on in times of need, that's enough for me. We don't need to be bound by the laws of physics or reality. If they taught me anything it's that chains don't effect those who have the key..... If you've read this far, I'm giving you your key. You can do it. You can do and get through anything, you are loved. You are unique and life is waiting for you... And that's not a theory....

@@minapazderak5867 while i could say the exact years since i started watching mat pat way back in his 'screw attack' early year(more then 5 years ago), when i say 'out grown' i mostly refer to how i've had a handful of years of learning how to be more critical and understand how certain things are more important. The subjects Mat Pat tackles don't have the same appeal and i also somewhat dropped the 'pedastal' i didn't realize I had somewhat put him on in my mind. Despite his intentions, i believe he is still an entertainer 1st and perhaps a business person 2nd, you can tell a lot of his theories are based around what will incentivize viewership and watch time while also be quick to script, and these scripts might not always be prof-read by himself or a credible authority due to time constraints, which leads to either videos that stretched for content, scraping on knowledge that is barely useful or interesting, and/or narrative theories edging on fanfiction that dosn't take certain core things into account and either overlooks things or jumps the shark . that doesn't make him a bad person it just means he is human. And clearly him and his team do more then a good enough job to pull it off and deliver. I've outgrown most of his content because my perspective of it has grown throughout the years I've watched him. I don't feel any excitement for his next videos anymore, but like i said in the original comment, doesn't mean i don't occasionally watch a video of his every-now-and-then or find him less worthy of respect.(sorry if this was an overly long and round-about way of saying it)

@@jeom3808 He does have to do these things to survive on the internet and because of this, I don’t think any of his big channels are my favorites. GTLive is where the unscripted, unedited MatPat shines through and he talks about his life and you can see the relationships he has with the other people at Theorist Inc. I do like his theories but the unscripted nature of over 650 videos makes GTLive more appealing and harder to grow out of.

This makes me cry every time I watch it. Mat is such a good person, he really deserve another great ten years. Heck, he deserves more than that… His journey from a struggling theater nerd who couldn’t afford a haircut to becoming a representative for all the needs and geeks on the internet to come together with is amazing. I’m proud to be a Theorist, thank you Mat for everything you’ve done.

Game Theory was my first channel and group who convinced me to start gaming, I was a smart girl and I enjoyed a lot of stuff that they covered. Every time they uploaded I’d always be there, and I do have a confession to make. When my grandfather died, in order for me to well grieve I watched each episode. I basically binged them all, and I still binge them to this day. So all in all. Thank you Game Theory. For convincing me to enjoy what I love and help me through my toughest times.

You never really realize how much something or someone means to you until it gets sentimental. My heart melts everytime Matpat reacts to Ollie saying something. Matpat is a really lucky guy. He’s made such an impact on so many peoples lives.

God I’ve been watching Game Theory since 2012 when I was 8 years old MatPat literally defined my childhood and is probably the reason I’m so analytical about all of the things that I love. He made me interested in math even though I still hate learning it in school because he applied it to something that was already familiar to me in video games. I owe maybe half of who I am today to MatPat and I cannot thank him enough for sticking with me all these years

What a gentle heart, Matpat and Markiplier and Jacksepticeye and Pewdiepie and Game Grumps all of them have helped so many people. And I think, they've changed how not just the internet, but the world in general views showing emotion, especially for men. The things that one would be mocked for, such as showing emotion and being grateful for the support of friends and family, now they've made it just a little bit easier. They paved the way so that people can be kinder to others and also to themselves. There was a time where it didn't seem like anyone could be trusted to be who they said they were. Online and in person, people hide so much of what they feel. And then there's genuine people like Matt who wear their heart on their sleeve. Showing that it IS ok to cry sometimes. To just let yourself feel all of it. To me, I think it takes far more strength to show emotion than it would to 'be strong' and hide what you really feel. Besides, it's not good to hold all that inside you. The thing is, these are videos, they could choose not to show the 'moment of weakness', edit it out or reshoot it. But, no. We get to see the human aspect of who they truly are. And MY theory is that it's that human aspect...that's the thing that makes me want to watch the videos. Sure, the content is fun, but it's because it's Matt that I keep coming back. I see something in him that I also share. The desire to help people, to bring joy to even just one person. If I can do that, then it was all worth it. All the pain and suffering I've had to endure in this wild ride we call life, if I can help just one person, to reach just one life...then I'd do all the hard stuff all over again for the chance. I wouldn't change a thing. I've learned so much, and I can't wait to see what'll happen next.

God I love seeing Mat so happy. He's genuinely so thankful and loves everyone he's around, he loves his job and he loves his family. What he does and has done hasn't been easy and even now is still working to be a respected and mainstream career path, but the fact he made it so far, you can see he's so humble even though he has every right to be otherwise. It inspires me so much to try and do the same with perusing my passion. I know that practically odds are pretty far against me, but he didn't give up. He did what he loved because he loves what he does, and to see him be able make it so far, and achieve his goal of leaving the world a better place millions of times over... it's so uplifting and something I really needed to see. I say this now because I worked during the actual live steam and usually don't rewatch celebratory livestreams because it doesn't feel like I'm in the moment any more, but now I actually might. It's a pretty dumb reason to not have but I love the Game Theory team so I owe it to them at least

This song brought so much nostalgic memories of watching not just game theory and gtlive, but other creators like Markiplier too, all this videos that I watched to get away from life and reality, it helped me through so much, all the video games, when they laughed I laughed harder, when they cried I cried harder, and all the people who love them as much as I do, thank you, because we help them continue to grow and create content, we are.indirectly helping thousands of people just like us, and they might never see this comment, but I want to let them know that we thank them for everything, every gamer on KZbin has helped somebody, every single one, whether they're big or not, they have helped somebody, and that's why I want to be just like them, I too want to be a gamer, so I can share the joy and happiness that comes with having something funny to watch after a long hard day. I wish I could go back in time and relive all these moments. There's so many videos to watch, I can't keep up with them all, so I'll surely forget some, even though I don't want to, but I'll always love them. Thank you

Who knew these little curious thoughts from someone just like you and me on the internet would lead to so much good. One mystery that will never be solved is the series of words that we could say to articulate just how moving these years have been. I made friends because of game theory. It fostered my curiosity and love for video games, and the fnaf theories specifically made me feel like i was a part of something bigger when i felt alone. Sure. Its just a video game. Sure its just a theory. But overall, its a community of people that raise eachother up, that makes some random channel feel like a home. Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible. We love you!

I didn't want to cry today but oh well. Mat didn't impact me nearly as much as some of the people in the comments, but he is an amazing content creator. I've seen so many of his videos, whether it's him or someone else narrating, I still watch game theory for the best content. Yes, KZbin will one day collapse, but game theory will live on. Whether that's online or just in our hearts. I don't know how much longer he will go on. I don't know if he will go as long as game grumps plans on going for. All I know is that he is going to have a fantastic time wherever he goes and will have the support of millions of fans watching his back and making sure that this world does come out a slightly better place. Even if I stop watching game theory, I will never forget the channel. They deserve everything they have and more. Thanks for making these past almost 11 years something to look forward to and keep us entertained during these dark times. We don't deserve you, but we're sure glad you are here. ❤💚❤💚❤💚❤💚❤💚

Literally right after the song when Matpat started crying, I did too. I grew up my whole childhood with Matpat. Since the day I stumbled upon "Game Theory: Five Nights at Freddy's SCARIEST Monster is You!" I have been watching his content ever since. From me being a little kid who was picked on for being weird and a little nerdy, to growing up and still trying to figure out my life, I have stuck with Game Theory all these years. For many eras of my life, switching schools, switching friend groups, and growing up in general, I have always come back (see what I did there) to watching Matpats theories. He has always made me smile and laugh, and also see games in ways I hadn't seen them before. When I saw Matpat in the Fnaf movie, I was so happy, I literally screamed, it was like my whole childhood was right in front of me. I came back to this video to remind myself that it has been over 10 whole years of enjoying Matpats content, and I am so happy that his dreams came true. Thank you Matpat, and all of Team Theorists, for growing up with me, and everyone else, and making our lives so much better.

Game Theory and it's sister channels are actually what helped me get through the deepest depression of my life. I had been watching for a few months (since 2014) when I lost my 1st paying job. I was terrified of losing my apartment and having to live on the street. I had no money so unless I went over to my Mom's house on the weekends or went to school (I went to culinary school) I didn't have anything to eat. I was pretty much alone all day, there were days when I couldn't leave my apartment. I wasn't sleeping at night, I also started showing symptoms of what I would discover was schizoaffective disorder. I was miserable. However I was watching a lot of KZbin and I noticed that even though it didn't cure me Game Theory helped me feel less alone in a time when I really needed something to look forward to. 😊 So thank you Matpat and Steph and everyone on Team Theorist you guys saved my life ❤️
