what do you mean by the pattern of the binary code? Did you animate the seed? Or are you referring to repeating the "rain" animation; in which case it is not possible to loop.

@NoSleepCreative My computer isn't amazingly fast so I stop before the 3D the text. when the text was 3D it wouldn't run. Also I came to this video because I'm working on an image that I wanted lines of 1s and 0s in but didn't want to type them out. Thanks this was helpful

hey Tom, thanks for the wait! Technically yes it is possible, add in a "posterizeTime(insert number here)" expression on top of the expression. This will make the expression interpolate slower or faster based on the number you insert. You can try connecting a slider and animating the numbers from there. That's the only idea off the top of my head, hope that helps!

hey man, you can add Character Offset and Value Text Animators to randomize to alphabet or other digits. For a specific set of characters, you will have to use another repeater technique like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/foKwfpSjebd-ps0

I made it to the part where you switched from horizontal text to vertical, and then all my text disappeared. It seems to come back if I switch back to horizontal. Any ideas what went wrong?

It could be because you have too many characters in the text box, trying reducing it and see if that helps. Sometimes changing font size can help too.

I tried adding a "character offset" from the animate option to the text... and set the character offset value to 1, then from the add option next to the "animator 1" choose > selector> wiggly.. and set max amount to 1 and min amount to 0, i did that to all the text layers but I'm not sure if there's an easier way but it worked

Hey thanks, what do you mean it's not working? I tested it out few days ago and it was working. Are you able to download the AEP? If the AEP has expression errors, the problem you might be having is because you are using the ExtendScript for the Expression Engine. You got to go File> Project Settings > Expressions > change to Javascript.

@@zohaibmalik819 someone had the same problems a few ago. I mentioned to him about changing the Expression Engine to JavaScript, not sure if that helped. If not, it could be because of the After Effects version problem. What version are you running?

Also, the compositions take about a minute for after affects to show a preview because of the heavy expression processing. You can the composition "textMatrix" which loads the fastest.
