I was there when Matt was a freshman and BDiddy was dunking on Todd McColluh. Men’s gym was crazy back then being able to run w NBA players in the same building. When I was there the 3rd court was for us regular folks. Court no. 1 was NBA players.

I used to go Watch these all the time. I was a pro baseball player in the offseason working out at UCLa as my GF at the time was a student. EVERYONE was up There it was better than watching an All Star game. Wish i could have played but everyone showed love to The other athletes. I played against Jaron and Watson in AAU when they played on that Kansas City team. Mike Miller was on that squad to And Korleon Young

UCLA has Pauley Pavillion, Wooden Center and the Mens gym where the big name players came like Shaq and Dream. Magic would show up sometimes heard MJ too. I remember playing pickup games with Jaron Rush and Earl Watson. Jaron Rush was the#1 recruit in nation and hit game winmer vs #1 Stanford

I got to play in the Men's gym for IM Basketball. It really is a very cool place to play, and it does have a certain energy to it. I'm very grateful I got that opportunity. Looking back I'm very happy I played balls to the wall in those games, gave it everything. I feel like I honored the opportunity.

Hearing Adams name brought back so many memories. Matt told it so right! Buck was brutal with the CHEATING call it what it is lol. My era was Reggie Tracy M, Jack H (RIP),Pooh, D Martin, Shaq, Mitchell B T Wilson and many leaguers. But do you know who would come in pull rank and yank anyone off the court except for Buck and Reggie and put in major work…D Mac! Maclean was a beast at that time middies 3 ball a natural scorer. The runs back then were also in Pauley. Truly blessed to have this in my history. My J was so pure they started to call me “Johnny”

I went to UCLA, was there in the early 90's. The original Dream Team was there in Pauly, with Shaq. I just walked in saw the greatest ever going crazy. Shaq should have been on that team instead of Laetner. Oh, and Cheryl Miller was there too looking like a small child. Reggie was there, along with a few others to fill in the numbers. Incredible.

I watched these games, exactly what Matt Barnes said.. Magic would call a foul every time when it was game point. Regular pickup games with no namers... if that happened, there would be fights. With Magic, there were alot of complaining and noise, but eventually the players understood.

Is it possible to watch a sports or entertainment podcast headed by a black athlete or celebrity that doesn't use the " N" word. And are any of these guys creating their own independent businesses or social media businesses instead of talking about old basketball stories.

It's stupid how people can make a career about only talking about work. I'll make a podcast talking about being a water filtration manager for 20 years. Smh get a life people. It's over. Move one. Sad.
