haha lol, yes Leslie speaker it is. funfact: Mr hammond didn't like it at first that people connected his organ to these leslie speakers. Poor dude, had to deal with it XD

I can definitely imagine owning this particular Hammond organ model if I had the money and the space. It would be sensational to have a two-tier Hammond organ again (the one I had from 2000-2011 was a Hammond E w/ Leslie 31H). I also like that you chose the B3 cabinet to hold it up instead of the C3 cabinet. I dig how you described the 145 as “the most expensive nightstand” you’ve ever bought. It could have that double function, couldn’t it?

Love that sound! I used to play one ages ago when I was at school…I am now 66! I am sure the Leslie switch was mounted somewhere near the pedals. Or even on the swell pedal…or perhaps my imagination?

Nice performance. Would love to hear that on a "real" Hammond 😉 The XK3 just don't "tickle" in any way for me. Really would like to see a Shootout between the XK-3 and the new Viscount Soul on the same Leslie .. From what individual performances I have heard, Viscount hit the nail on the naming. The sound seems to have much more of that real "soul" of an old 50's Tonewheel. I have the feeling the Viscount would blow the XK3 totally away. Add a 145 or 122 Heritage to see how they perform against each other 🥰 Really that old 145 Didn't really remove the fact that the XK3 just sounds too sterile

I play on a XK5 at the moment thats faaaar more realistic. Never liked the viscount actually

@@hansvannieuwehuijzen4667 Vintage Hammond. Today's Hammond organs are also clones and possibly a Viscount Legend could be closer to the original. So close, that you can notice the difference in AB comparison only when you use a vintage Hammond every day and listen very very carefully
