I wanted the Bears to trade back with both their 1st and 9th overall picks in.the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. I wanted Chicago to select LT Joe Alt, Center Powers Johnson and DT Tryevon Sweat with there first 3 picks. With all of that draft capital from trading back those 2 first round picks the Bears chould have drafted 3 offensive linemen and 3 defensive linemen. They would have had a few picks left over to get whatever else they wanted. Since the Bears decided to get Caleb Williams; I will support their decision. I wanted them to keep Justin Fields but hey let's see what happens. There are 14 more games left.

I've seen comments that suggested that Bill B. would fix the team , and he was a defensive coordinator that won enough rings for one hand so that's kinda crazy that you wpuld say that. Texans have a D-coordinator as a head coach and they play hard. The key is having coaches that are capable regardless if their special team coach even , as long as one gets the job done. Nothing in the NFL is a guarantee.

At the rate of dog shit we are playing like we will be lucky to win one division game. Our defense is good but our offense has been an absolute disaster so far. Especially in the running game. I couldn't stand the fact we did not fire Chris Morgan because our line was not great last season either. We only looked as good as we did on the run stats becasue Fields was always running for his life. This is two weeks in a row that we looked dijected and incompetent at scheming things open and running the ball. This so far has not looked good on Poles, Eberflus, or Waldron. The fans have seen this horror movie before, its time to change the movie already. Three games into a season that had such hope and its starting to look like the same rerun from the past. Honestly can we say Eberflus has really called great games so far??? Called good ones but not great ones. His head coaching duties have been a disaster since signing on the dotted line three seasons ago. They better get it right soon because i already see this team becoming frustrated and that will lead to disfunctuon moving forward. If we shit the bed at home against the Rams fans will be calling for heads to roll!!! Can't go into division games wirh a losing record. This season is going to end up being just like 2021, where they had a gm & coaching staff that had been here a few years at that point and they knew 2021 was a make it or break it year for their careers here and they were on the hot seat and so they drafted Fields in 2021 to try and save their careers, and Fields was thrown right into the fire without any development and the season ended badly and he was left having to start his 2nd year with a new gm and coaching staff and coordinator after Pace and Nagy were fired and Poles and Eberflus were hired. If they have a losing season this year, CW will have to go through the same thing with a new gm and coaching staff in 2025 when Poles and Eberflus and Waldron are fired. Just a rinse and repeat organization. You had a chance to finally put and end to that cycle of dysfunction by hiring Harbaugh and you did not even interview him. So tired of the ineptitude of this franchise.
