It's here we learn how incredibly patient Tom is. We also learn that this happens often enough to where Tom knows there's no point fighting it, and instead he just pulls out his phone. Also, we learn that Matt has a contagious laugh, not only to himself, but to the audience as well.

The captions for this are auto generated into German! It’s just [Gelächter] [Gelächter] [Gelächter] [Gelächter] [Gelächter] which I presume means laughter... it’s picked up nearly nothing else!
@thetimetraveller26713 жыл бұрын
Wow, so yes, Gelächter is laughter, but why are the captions in German??? ^^
@viveladecadence3 жыл бұрын
@@thetimetraveller2671 You can choose German subtitles in the settings of the video. But since those are auto-generated AND in another language, I'd really suggest the English ones. 😁

*Files under 'I didn't know I needed this'* Honestly my favourite parts are Tom's actions while he's laughing (not to make fun of you Tom - just don't really see that kind of bouncing laugh often!), and Matt's face at the end when Tom says "It'd be a bad idea to set you off again" it's kind've "I feel guilty but sure I'll do it again" and caught me out a bit. But yeah it's quite nice to just laugh for no particular reason.

I would love a video about why people do this if there is any research out there!
@sirBrouwer6 жыл бұрын
Symbioticism i kan say from self experience that the sound og laughter can be the reason to start laughing. And the closer you are with the persons around you the stronger it gets. And in a way no one is that close to your self as you are.
@Zizzily6 жыл бұрын
Sometimes when you try not to laugh, you end up focusing on the thing that made you laugh to begin with. Kind of like being told to not think about something.

My current working hypothesis is that it depends on a person's bounciness factor.

+1 to this. I’ve had involuntary fits of laughter to the point that I start to get really frustrated at the fact that I can’t stop. Would love to see the science behind it if there has been any research into it.

I had one the Tuesday just gone. Nothing particularly funny happened, but I was babysitting and teaching two of the older children silly word and improve games to pass the time because the Internet was down and we all just started laughing to the point where just looking at each other set us off again.
