Love this, so many people shy away from talking about "business" and it's so important! Also, I'm glad to see somebody covering a different terrain, it's easy to find something to clean up with in a lush forest but the desert is a different story. Thanks for the info! 😊

I enjoy the advances of modern civilization. A lot! But I just wanted to drop a note and say I think you are an awesome human being. I loved watching you on Dual Survival. You're so positive, easy going, and clearly just enjoy life. You are inspirational. Best of luck in all your endeavors.

Cool man. Our stomp'n grounds is the Owyhees. We use it for fire starting, as it's like gas. Also, burn a bit to keep away mosquitos. Yes, love the smell.;)

Matt Graham you inspire me. I am learning how to live off the land. do you boil water first before you put the sagebrush in your water. like making pine needle tea. I will be trying to make you bow making class in may. I live in Idaho is the sage brush out here the same? it's southern Idaho in pocotello.
@MattGrahamEarthSkills7 жыл бұрын
HI wally, Thanks for the comment. You do not need to boil sagebrush tea unless you want, since it is strong soaked in cold water. Make sure the water is safe for you to drink though.Yes the Sagebrush (artemisia Tridentata) is predominant in Idaho as well. It would be super cool to see you out there for the bow class. We have a great spot and materials to work with!

Look up Great Basin Sagebrush, or its scientific name Artemisia tridentata. Woody branches, soft green leaves, and fragrant. So very fragrant. I smelled the bushes before I saw them on my hiking trail!

Thanks for the question. Sagebrush (artemisia) which is different than culinary sagebrush (salvia) should only be used as tea in moderation as medicine. If used much more than a 2 weeks it can be a little hard on the liver.
