When you rotate a propellor by hand, please don't stand in the arc of the prop. And keep any loose clothing items or hair or jewelery tucked away. Expect the engine to start.
@Kenriko3 жыл бұрын
it's kind of ridiculous that they own this plane but clearly don't have proper training. A damaged P lead and you're dead or seriously injured. Always check the ignition and mixture before touching the prop. Even with the mixture off it'll still fire for a few revs if there's fuel in the system.

Worked for Beechcraft / Beech Aerospace for many years. The tip tanks are great. Not only do they hold additional fuel but they act as wings fences capturing air that would normally go off the wing tips. Thus, the gross weight is raised.

Hi! why you go from a Cirrus SR20 to The F33A? I actually own a 260B Comanche and I was leaning towards a SR20 or 22, I always love the A36 but it was too Expensive but now I'm willing to spend a little more and I like the F33 very much. is there any reason you let go of the cirrus?

Do you need special training to do a formation like that. Or is that something most pilots can do?
@codyjohnson37563 жыл бұрын
No extra training is required. However before a formation flight, each PIC has to talk about the flight.

Thank you for sharing your aviation adventures!! I loved the video. It did make me a little sad because I used to have a Beechcraft, and I miss it so much. Now I am in a Cherokee 140, which is such a huge downgrade in my opinion, but hey, at least it's flying, right? I did a couple of formation flights, and they were so much fun. It was like cruising with your car buddies to different airports.

I'm curious, does the bonanza not need ice protection? Isn't there a turbo version that climb up above 20,000ft wouldn't you need ice protection going that high?
@NovejSpeed33 жыл бұрын
@Galileo7of9 i understand that. Thanks.
@NovejSpeed33 жыл бұрын
@Galileo7of9 i understand your comment about altitude and icing im wondering why bonanza don't have any anti-icing systems. The turbos can fly over the weather usually but from my understanding not all bonanza are turbo'd. Which means you could inadvertently find yourself in icing conditions down low....after all these years why aren't there any FIKI options from the factory esp since the Baron has boots???
@NovejSpeed33 жыл бұрын
@Galileo7of9Ahhh see i didn't even know all barons weren't booted. Its weird I always thought the bonanzas and barons were good multi-weather birds because of all the stories I've read about how tough and howbwell they handle in bad weather.. But that was assuming both had FIKI certs. I didn't realize until recently the Bonanza (and now some Barons) did not come equipped from the factory. I know you can get aftermarket setups. I guess your right, cost and weight probably was the biggest turn offs.

MU2 is pretty fast, about the same as Lancair IV-P or Cirrus visionjet. Bonanza is capable in many ways but it's literally from 1945. Isn't it high time for a new model... imagine a similar cabin config but use the rear for a simple lav with one time use bags instead of plumbing and pressurize the plane, teardrop shape, ultra low weight carbon fiber and twin tiny turbofan jet engines. Cruise speed 600+km/h, ceiling FL410, lower cost than the existing model, better fuel economy.
@alexantilla39262 жыл бұрын
Makes no sense, you can’t just throw jets on a light airplane and call it good. It would price many out because of having to be type rated and keep current, as well as maintenance and fuel burn being through the roof. There’s a reason the eclipse jet didn’t sell many units and the bonanza has been around since 1947. VLJ’s just aren’t practical in most instances. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix.
@DanFrederiksen2 жыл бұрын
@@alexantilla3926 you are relying on a loose intuition on existing products and that misleads you on a couple of key parameters here. A fast LSA might weigh 270kg including engine. An Embraer 100 jet weighs 3.2ton. A visionjet weighs about 2 ton. So try to see that a bonanza cabin size plane can weigh 400kg without engines or even less. Thats a dramatic difference in engine size needs. Just in a simple sense scale the price of a visionjet down by factor 5 that's 400k$, cheaper than most new archaic piston jets. Then try to understand that powering a 400kg plane might only require 15kg jet engines. Try to understand that such a product could be dirt cheap. Not the simplistic million dollars often thrown around. Because it's a relatively simple devices, much easier to make than a piston engine and has so little mass, it could be much cheaper than any comparable combustion engine. You see? try to see with vision. See possibilities rather than unquestioning defense of status quo. A twin jet could be the cheaper option. And you never considered that.

My thoughts as well. My question though is - where do these scam artists LEARN to do these scams? They all seem to know eachother(?) Did their parents teach them? Familial Connections? They all seem to have money coming out their a$$es, and there is never a legitimate education-trail behind how they got there. Except Guthmiller - his daddy's a successful attorney, so he's had the silver spoon since birth.
