It's hard for me to imagine WWE being all that interested in one last Hardy Boyz match. Jeff really burned some bridges with the unprofessionalism of his most recent exit from the company, and I think more people in WWE than just Vince were trying to transition Matt into a producer role. Hard to say with Triple H in charge of the pencil now, but WWE doesn't need any nostalgia pops with how well they're doing with established talent. Love Matt & Jeff, but I think Hall of Fame inductions and Legend contracts are all they're getting from WWE at this point.

I'm a person that grew up idolizing the Hardys. I met through Matt through a mutual friend several years ago, and I have a ton of respect for the Hardys and what they have accomplished. That being said, watching Matt in AEW was painful for me. At this stage, it is clear that Matt has serious physical problems. As a true fan, I would like to see Matt walk away while he still can. He needs to think of his family and his future. At this point, it is impossible for the Hardys to be the Hardys that fans expect anymore without risking their own futures. I hope that this will be their last run, and I hope that they do not go through any more tables or do any crazy stunts. I don't want to see it anymore. Their bump card was filled years ago. If they are going to continue at this point, they need to completely reinvent themselves so that they can wrestle a safer style without disappointing fans and tarnishing their legacy. It is time to look at the future.
