Great to hear from Riddle. I miss his character from WWE but watching this I see the why of it all and hopefully someday he could return to TV. At the time of his WWE release I could see him plateau. There’s almost a formula for WWE release besides doing something offensive - it’s being someone who stays low on the card who can’t be worked into interesting stories. Other guys who were fired at the same time shouldn’t come back (Dolph Ziggler, Ali) because I imagine them just failing just as hard. If Riddle returned they’d have to have an amazing idea for a story but he could pull it off for sure.

I met Matt a few times prior to his WWE run, at indies in Bristol and Cardiff UK. He was always a really nice guy. So much passion. Reminded me a lot of Chris Hero - but stoned obviously. Sounds like a part-time WWE contract might make sense for him, a few years down the line. Until then, Matt is absolutely doing the right stuff to propel himself back into a wanted commodity - as he has done so before.
