Matt Ryan had a fantastic 2016 throwing for nearly 40TDS and 5000YDS even through he sat the 4th quarter in many games. After a down year in 2015 the talented Falcons offense ran by Ryan was unstoppable last season and took the team all the way to the super bowl.

Drew Brees has been playing with a offensive guru ( Sean Payton) for the last 14-15 years. He is really comfortable and deadly in that system he has mastered. Ryan has a different coordinator like every 2 yrs. Can you imagine if he had somebody like Shanahan or Sean Payton as his head coach and offensive coordinator for his career.

Matt Ryan is the youngest QB to reach 12000 yards. If you look at his stats he is without a doubt a hall of fame. From his stats he is a top 10. He has also been one of the most consistent players. Also he is one of the most durable. I think he is probably the most underrated QBs we have seen. The dude is really good period.

Ryan lost because of his coach, too, which makes it even worse. He made a bad mistake in the fourth quarter, but ultimately, he led the Falcons to score 28 points, and that should have been enough to win that game. Give all the credit in the world to Tom Brady, the best Quarterback to ever walk the Earth. But he wouldn't have had those chances to begin with had the Falcons not folded like a beach chair when it came to coaching.

And honestly if I had to choose a really good defense I’d choose the reds and the patriots kind of defense, because they will let you catch the ball and then make a tackle, they are not the ones putting spears to the players like the rams and stuff they go for the ball and even if you do catch it they are right there knocking the ball out that’s the difference between my kind of defense and your kind of defense. Got to love it. Not real sure about some of you players and why they even let you play defense like that. I come back to this... And in a way I don't blame Julio not wanting to stay... The worst play calling(coaching) in real life and if this was Madden, of all time... Up by 8 on the opponents 22yrd line 1st down 4:40 remaining. We didn't force them to use a time out(I don't think) we even stopped the clock for them like 2-3 extra times on top of the time outs. And we self forced ourselves to get out of field goal range... Run the ball 3 times make them use all timeouts. I don't care if we lost 10 yards. Still like a 50

Dude cope harder. Roddy white wasn't doing big number in stats before Matt Ryan got there. Tiny Gonzalez was past his prime and Julio is Julio. Never had a star running back or good defense. Plenty of wrs and tight ends had good seasons with the falcons and went to other teams and didn't perform, like Taylor Gabriel, Austin Hooper etc. tevin Coleman. Matt Ryan made dudes look better then what they were. Even Julio never put up big numbers after leaving Atlanta not to mention Matt Ryan had a new coordinator and new coach every 3 to 4 years and had to learn a new system. He's too ten in yards all time, top ten in Tds all time, top ten in all time QB wins all time, and top ten in 4th quarter comebacks all time. And is basically dead even in every stat with Dan Marino so if Matt Ryan sucks then so does Dan Marino
