Bio: Ruslan KD is a Christian KZbinr of Armenian descent who was a refugee from Baku, Azerbaijan, before moving to the United States as a child. He started his KZbin channel in the mid-2010s, which has since grown into a popular platform for discussing faith, lifestyle, and music. Known for his insightful commentary on Christian living, culture, and personal development, Ruslan has built a community of followers who value his thoughtful approach to contemporary issues. In addition to his KZbin presence, Ruslan is a speaker, author, and advocate for godly ambition, often addressing topics related to leadership, mental health, and the integration of faith in everyday life.
Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

Racism still exists and is still built into many communities. I’m a white conservative pastor in a small southern town. I’m married to a black woman who grew up in this small town. She and her family have experienced extreme racism their whole lives. It got better around 10 years ago but now is back with people like Walsh saying that racism doesn’t exist and they’re just playing the victim. It saddens me that Christians are playing a part in this. It’s a slap in the face to many people like my wife who won’t complain but just keep serving the Lord and just keep on working hard to overcome. Your video is correct, appreciate you making it.

Ruslan, thank you brother and I love you. I’m a Christian Man in law school in the South East, who happens to be black and I have to wrestle with this tension daily. On a high note, it helps me further my trust in God and that he’s real and see the carnal and depraved state of man, and become even more thankful for Jesus. But the other side, though I never lose hope. I do have moments where I continually ask God, why it has to be this way. Why do race relations have to be this tense? And though I can answer those questions biblically through his word and also study of US history ( I’ve always been a huge history nerd). It remains difficult to see the issues, knownthe only true solution is Jesus but also see the anger, distrust, and human disbelief in Him.

I'm old enough to remember back in 2001 in college when we black folks used the word conscious. Some of us still do. Which just meant socially aware pertaining to black culture solely. Personally there's nothing wrong with that. We SHOULD be conscious as black ppl. Then that got turned into woke, which white progressives jumped on... then it got perverted by white right-wingers and politicians. Now I cringe when I hear woke. Most black people do. We don't even use it anymore. To see how it got perverted and ruined by white politicians is gross. Now anything media related with black folks, women, or the gay community is called woke, but that's not how it originally was used. I wish the right would find a new word to use like PC or something.

Hey brother! I love your content and I generally enjoy (whether agree or disagree with your takes) your perspective on topics. I do want to offer a bit of pushback though on your general approach to this topic from my perspective. I agree with the fact that historical injustices have effects on the present. I think it would be a bit naive to claim otherwise. The fundamental issue when it comes to race in America is that we simply talk about it too much. The problem here, which as Christians we would agree, is the human heart which can’t be fixed via policy, law or logic. It annoys me as a Caribbean immigrant who served this country and became a Christian later in my adult life that so many Americans that people cripple themselves with the weight of the past. The past is not the end of your story, it’s simply a part. It’s up to us generally how big of a part we make it, considering our future.
@BlessGodStudios

@Thomas.charles866
@Thomas.charles866 Ай бұрын
@@BlessGodStudios completely fair. 100%. I guess what I’m pushing back on is the extent to which it (both past and current injustices) affects people’s present and their future. I’ll grant that conservatives can come off a bit cold and unemphatic when reacting/responding to anecdotes and perhaps even documented cases of injustice when it comes to black people or other minorities, but at this point, the only side that practically suffer here are black Americans and anyone else who surrenders their present… to the past, or their capability/power to change their circumstance to “environment” or “society”. Once again, not invalidating anyone’s plight, but from comic book, to fiction at large, to real life heroes and role models, we are all drawn to and admire people who overcame their adversity and sacrificed greatly to achieve some degree of success. Then there’s the reality of simply taking on a greater burden because it’s necessary and fulfilling. For example, I’m very glad we have brave people willing to risk their lives to run into burning flames to save strangers daily. Very necessary for society, not appealing to most humans. It saddens me that we are more divided than ever on almost everything that can be argued about, and I don’t want to be guilty here of one of the greatest recorded indictments God makes against His people (complaining/grumbling), so I’ll just state it quickly. Sadly, more people spend too much time talking about the problem (or just straight up complaining) rather than acknowledging, addressing and trying to find solutions. Christ died to set us free from sin in all forms, the adversary thrives on us being a victim of our circumstances.

Thank you Ruslan. I appreciate your perspective. Carl Jung talks about the idea of the collective psyche and the impact that race based slavery had on it. You cannot deny that slavery and Jim Crow caused generational harm. The issue to me is how is it healed. As a Catholic Christian, Jesus is the first and most powerful healer of race relations. Then community and relationship. I did a lot of mission trips to inner cities in Kalamazoo, Flint, and Toledo where I lived for 7 years. It is going to take time and commitment of churches and community to heal these areas.

@@BlessGodStudios "HAD to publicly apologize"?! Where? When? Please provide the link. I Googled it (and not just read headlines) and I'm not seeing it. I see there were accusations of misquoting and then stretching that to say that even the overall idea is a misrepresentation of Delgado's writings . . . I have the book . . . wasn't really familiar with the technicalities of 'block quotes' before today, but the fact that there are quotations of a few sentences and words WITHIN the block quote should signal that the entire block quote wasn't intended to be a direct quotation . . . it did for me . . . but perhaps my knowledge of writing standards are 20 years out of date. Per VB''s interview with Founders, he owns the bad formatting but stands by his intentions of giving an overview (not direct quote), and it being an accurate overview of the ideology at that (not a straw man). In the interview, direct quotes of Delgado ARE read, and it's clearly not a misrepresentation or strawman of the ideology . . . it's the same understanding.

Ruslan, I am enjoying this video so far. However, I do not think the example you use at 12:18 proves the point you think it does. A black family putting up their pictures and the appraisal differs if they remove the picture does not prove racism. If the researchers had switched out the black family's picture with a white family's and there was a discrepancy, then I would concede your point. Real estate agents actually encourage their clients to remove all pictures of themselves and their families so that prospective buyers can picture themselves in the house. Just a thought. God bless! 😊
@KiearraDScruggs
@KiearraDScruggs Ай бұрын
maybe this picture doesn't resonate with you, but there was a real news story this year where a Black family had their house appraised for $100,000 more after allowing their white friend to act as the seller during the appraisal. This wasn't just about removing family pictures; it was about systemic racial bias in the housing market. Denying these facts doesn’t make them any less real just because it hasn’t happened to you. And while I acknowledge that Black people can be racist too (a black woman made a dinner that white women have to pay $5,000 for just to be called racist even though they went to the dinner to learn not to be)-especially in today’s world-this example highlights a specific issue of racism in housing that’s still very present.
@tanderson2too
@tanderson2too Ай бұрын
It actually does. It occurred in middle-class neighborhoods, and neighborhoods where homes were worth millions. It was isolated to one state. There are quite a few news stories about news. Real Estate Agents and Real Estate Appraisers have different roles. The appraiser is supposed to look at the data (comparable sales, neighborhood, market trends, etc.). Removing photos from a home shouldn't shift a value by 6 figures.

It's not an emotional response to point out the reality of a situation just because it makes you uncomfortable or because you yourself haven't experienced it. It's hypocritical because I'm pretty sure you're someone who looks at "the left" and realizes they deny logical facts when it comes to transgenderism, yet they are the same people who will go into an uproar if someone identifies as transracial. I’m sure you and I can agree on that part, and that calling them out isn't hateful but about speaking facts and not compromising reality for emotions. No one is buying into an emotional response just because people are admitting to racism and redlining. Please re-read the Torah and see how Miriam was cursed with leprosy for mocking Moses' wife. It's not an emotional response when we bring up the Holocaust, but it's somehow considered an emotional response when we talk about American slavery and its aftermath. Also, do you realize that most people don’t even know about the Armenian genocide? For years, it wasn’t even allowed to be talked about. Ruslan knows firsthand what it’s like to experience racism because he and his family literally fled their country as refugees. Yet you want him to stay silent about what's happening here just because you feel it's an emotional response? Come on, let's be real.

I think I understand why you try to balance your perspectives but you seem to generalize a minority mindset to sympathize with the left. The root is sin. Going back and back and back to justify or soften the other side may not be as helpful as the acknowledgment of present day realities and future solutions. You usually will follow a great take with a “but” and sometimes it can cancel your great take. For the sake of what? And you make it sound like DEI is some fringe thing. Like it hasn't been adopted by most major companies. Coca cola had the famous "be less white" training. And what do you make of the fact that Nigerians are one of the most successful immigrant groups? How can that be going against a racist system? And I can think of a reason off the top of my head that someone that isn't racist would avoid hiring a minority if they can. I would never have to take someone elses free will away for Gods will to be done. If you were meant to be born he made it so you were. Pretty simple that God is more powerful. Genesis 2:7, He “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and it was then that the man became a living being.”

@@mysurfing3550 what is cherry picking about that? It’s very clear, and there are other verses that show the value that life has to God. God also allows for free will while being sovereign, and finding where these 2 things meet can be tricky, but to think that our bad decisions don’t have consequences or an impact is false. Having an abortion matters, plain and simple.

@@mysurfing3550Sorry, but which "womb" was God creating mankind IN in Genesis 2:7? Notice any other differences there than the way every single other person was created 🤔
