Lol, the same thought occurred to me too. The only reason I knew what he was talking about is bc my gf's dad was a fire chief in his city for like 30 years and one anecdote that he musta shared with me about 400 times was, when he became fire chief, the first thing he did was order the removal of all the snuff spitters that were scattered around downtown. Apparently, it wasn't uncommon for towns to have these big, gross spitoons placed around common areas... right up until the 1970's. But ya, he always used the word snuff when referring to chewing tobacco. Guy was based af actually. He had a couple strokes and was semi confined to using a wheelchair. So once or twice a week, I would go to his house, watch an episode of jeopardy and lift him out of the chair and pretty much levitate him while someone helped him throw on some PJ's and then drop him in bed. Not a job I was thrilled about but I was rewarded handsomely for my efforts. My gf's parents were basically obligated to never fuk with me and my gf was quite generous. Besides the repeat stories, he did tell some unintentionally hilarious stories. One story, he explained to me that back when he fought in the Korean War, an elite unit of black soldiers had been dubbed the "Night-Fighters". He had a great explanation for why they were called that and I think I actually dripped a little bit of pee from laughing so hard.

It decreases the metabolic process that breaks down the drugs so more of the drug is in your blood stream at once and for longer. I don't believe it truly potentiates psilocin, at least it's not shown in everyone but other "psychedelics" like ketamine or dxm can certainly be affected by it. Acid and mushrooms with grapefruit is sort of a myth.
