X2 looks better than X1 imho, but if they did an X1 M35i I'd buy that over the X2 version just for the marginally extra space & practicality.

Bought one just after Xmas after taking the 330i, C300, & Q3 Sportsback. This put the biggest smile on my face! Mine does have adaptive cruise control, parking assist & adaptive headlights. The only negative is that in “Comfort” mode it has a slight hesitation off the mark. But otherwise I love it

How has reliability been in terms of its technology? I currently own an Audi Q5 and its technology is showing lag with about 50k miles in it for a 2020 model. Also how is the throttle response?

I have the 2019 M35I Alpine White! It's hands down the best car I've ever owned! It's fast, fun honestly I have so much fun it's illegal! I love driving it when I'm not on my Ducati rocket ship!

Just bought one, delivery next week, 21 plate, same as that inside with the huge screen etc but it has the fog/cornering lights. Looking forward to it. Test drove it for an hour on all sorts of roads and I find the ride better than my current 2014 435i M Sport, in fact, the only thing i prefer about my 4 is the looks.

I own this. Yes you can still pair it with your phone via bluetooth audio and it can work with the steering wheel control with the Heads Up Display to skip next track but you need to have opened Spotify on your phone first.

I have a 2020 X1 28i awd... But I really wanted the X2 m35i... I just couldn't find one in good condition. I looked for months. I now watch vids like this to reminisce. ha. I drove the X2 from 2019 in the awd 28i trim and found it pretty fun.. handled great. I just didn't like the transmission/shifting. 2020 changed something in the transmission. My X1 shifts much smoother and more positively than the 2 '19 X2's I drove. I have a family.. so in the end, the X1 with a bit more space was the right answer. I still enjoy it... and plan to give it to my oldest son in a few years. I might be a used X2 from 2022 one day. The new (2024) X2 isn't for me.

Is it just me or does this thing price out much more competitively than the GLB 35? I hear everybody complementing the styling but it almost looks like a big MINI to me, which BMW owns. I definitely think the 35 looks better not for 1000's more. My .02

Adaptive Cruise Control is a deal killer for me and this is what I have been trying to find out - as someone who is a long distance driver, it's not even an option NOT to have it. I was really considering this over the Cupra Ateca but that info has sealed the deal. The current 2023 brochure also has no mention of it, so, poor form BMW for 70K+ car. Poor form indeed.

Drove a rented BMW X2 M35i 2021 on vacation for a week in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia, Canada. Best roads ever for a car like this. @#$%@! loved it! I drive a 5 series but its really too much car to use just as a grocery cart. And BWM can say whatever they want but the bigger cars aren’t as much fun as the smaller ones. In fact, the newer 5 series isn’t as much fun as the old (smaller) manual 5 series. This car caught my eye as having nice clean lines, unlike say Toyotas. And the seats look form fitting for my fit form. They probably would be uncomfortable for my fat wife which makes her less likely to be a passenger . . . and I’d have a nag-free ride.😀

It uses idrive6,, not idrive7 , doesn't support android, over the air updates aren't possible, you actually still have to go to the dealer for updates, The damn thing doesn't have blind spot warning lights. What the hell do you expect for $53000 USD
