I absolutely love your your style! You will definitely be my "mentor "! You have a Great teaching style (best I've seen so far!) AND...the work style you do is definitely inspiring to me! Kinda like a guitar player that is inspired by Stevie ray Vaughn! I want to copy your style and add my own embellishments ! I'm excited!

Nice carve Matt. I reckon you should do a rune stone dragon and write your story. I would use a rune font and write in English.

Cool idea! I actually have a stone that could work on. Cheers for watching

Just found your channel, and at the right time! Just beginning power carving and sorting out my work area. I nearly threw out an old gate leg table to clear space, but have decided it is a perfect work table that I can practice my (hopefully) developing skills on. Thanks for your inspiration!
@MattCarves2 жыл бұрын
Cheers for watching. Yeah it's good to have a dedicated work space. Power carving is fun and you can take it in a lot of directions. I try and carve all sorts on my channel to show people how versatile it is. Happy carving 👍

You're getting good at the celtic line drawing. Really great work. How about a celtic cross in the center, doesn't need to be especially detailed,just the cross shape. 🏴👍😁
@MattCarves3 жыл бұрын
Cheers Charles. That's a great idea, some really beautiful celtic cross designs out there 👍

Are most of those bits 1/4 shank not 1/8th?
@MattCarves Жыл бұрын
I carve with a dremel, thus most are 1/8, or smaller. 👍

Do you wear goggles over your glasses ? If so can you post a link please ?
@MattCarves Жыл бұрын
I just wear normal safety glasses when carving. My eyesight is not too bad.
