The quality of your videos is just through the roof right now, the sim, the thumbnails, the editing, timelapses, airline and aircraft choice (British Airways and the 777-300ER are my favourite) is just amazing, 10x better than your previous videos! I'm amazed at what you are making Flight Sim feel like now, keep it up!

***** also just as a tip, maybe in the views of the wing between taxis and other points where there is a short delay between you talking and footage showing, maybe just leave the ingame sound in and forget the music, save it for the montage. Other then that, perfect!

I am so looking forward to get flight sim back. It's been about 3 years since I last played, and finally taken the plunge, spent a lot on a new computer especially for FSX, and it gets built and installed this weekend. Your videos have teased me long enough, time to start actually flying and enjoying all the things Flight Sim gives. Keep em coming.

First of all, very detailed video. Well done, there are only two things I would like to point out. For pressurizing the hydraulics the sequence is: 1. R ELEC Demands 2. C1/C2 ELEC Primaries 3. L ELEC Demands 4. C1/C2 AIR Demands and the other way round 4-3-2-1 to switch them off. Just to be sure I got this from Avsim aswell. Another thing is that when you put the gear down it should show you a green light "down" first before putting flaps 25 for example this will get rid of the warning sound you got.

They land on both 09L/R or 27L/R in the mornings before 0600 because there are no departures! The config gear warning came because you selected flaps 25 before the gear was fully extended. Finally you didn't actually use reverse thrust on the landing, hence the long roll out. You should be getting about 70% N1 in reverse! Great video Matt keep me coming!

Great video matt! Always a pleasure. I've seen this flight land many times at Heathrow although it is now operated by British Airways' new A380 fleet. Brilliant Video again Matt, I have actually flown many times on that exact route. Cathay and BA usually take a northernly route but Virgin take a more southern route which passes near Chengdu. SIDs in Hong Kong into China are long at times with its 4800m restriction to enter its airspace. Real flights are about 13hrs in Winter

Posted this on another video, so here we go again :D KJFK to TJSJ in a Jet Blue A320/321. JetBlue is probably America's favorite airline (I'm sorry American and Delta... but it's true) and the descent into San Juan, Puerto Rico is gorgeous, especially the water. I also recommend getting Latin VFR's San Juan scenery. It's probably my favorite scenery, and yes... I have a couple dozen sceneries. The flight is about 4 hours in good weather with ~50 knot winds, but it's all worthwhile when you land in Puerto Rico. Hope you consider it!
@skymutt9649 жыл бұрын
I do like JetBlue, but I can honestly say it's not everybody's favorite airline. That probably belongs to American Eagle. But personally, my favorite is Delta

Hey Matt, first off, great video. Can't get over how good your 777 looks, with all the addons, and EZDOK really adds to the amazing views of the 777 you got. I was wondering if you could (in the near future) do 1 of two flights? The first would be BA16 - Sydney (YSSY) - Singapore (WSSS) or CX261 - Hong Kong (VHHH) - Paris Charles De Gaulle (LFPG). It would mean heaps to me, but no pressure, only if you are able to get round to it, great video once again, keep it up!

Hi Matt, how would you feel about doing a "getting started with heavies" type video? As a light aircraft / VFR-er it would be good to find out about all the systems you need to pay attention to and the differences with flying something like this, vs an A2A 182 or similar, especially with the attention to detail and quality you put into these vids I think it would be much better than 99% of the other YT tutorial vids you can get!
@Mirandorl9 жыл бұрын
***** True, I guess they can be massive undertakings. Perhaps a 'parts' structure like your vatsim vids? I could watch your videos, and I guess you always go through a similar process but I don't seem to be able brain good and do the learn. Much button. So acronym etc :)

The config gear warning comes from the flap selection I think the max is 20 before the gear has to come out and because you had set it to 25 before the gear had time to come out you got that warning. Btw really enjoy your videos!

Hey Matt, I know you get frustrated when people leave impulsive and demanding comments, but I wanted to comment to share some of the little bits that I have learned about the 777. The "Config Gear" message you received was given because the gear was, albeit lowering, but not fully down, especially from what I can tell. I am not quite sure about real operation, but I wait until the gear is down until I lower the 20 stage of flaps. Anyways, the graphics in these videos are absolutely stunning.

Hi Matt.you seemed surprised about the landings on 09R . Not as surprised as me last may when, having my last cigarette outside terminal 5 before my new York flight I noticed the arrivals coming in in a kind of scattered parallel 9L/9R .
