i have frozen paint on my car. while it's true u have to repaint panels to correct chips, the original matte paint from bmw is more dynamic than a matte ppf. it pops much more in sunlight than ppf.

Most satin ppf hide metalic base from semimatt paint, so the color looks "flat".

That's not s bad idea I suppose. My car is white which is the exact color I want. Gonna get the paint fixed up around some corners and add some racing stripes and probably add the clear coat

Most importantly it protects it from sun damage, again this isn’t paint so don’t be like “let’s see how sun damaged it will be in five years”, this is just a protection for your new cars. For example, you got a new 100,000$ car and would hurt your soul to get stone chip off your factory paint? This is the way to go
