they need to ditch the corp, crowdfund, release on streaming services themselves to avoid all the after school special and resold/packaged for the ccp meddling. They should reboot the series, Brothers (1984-1989) with a few changes... it's about a trio of Italian American brothers (one a construction worker that dropped out in the 7th grade, got a ged in the army, worked construction with his dad, though both their parents died before the other two were grown, so he took care of them, he's blue collar, married, alcoholic and womanizer, the middle is a former football player - a not so well known, middling, kicker that opened a restaurant with - obsessed with the appearance of success and insecure, divorced and a helicopter parent that refuses to let his adult daughter grow up, while the youngest brother comes out later in life and on his wedding day and just as clueless on everything else he wants to do, he's goal oriented until he nears the end of a goal and moves on. Also, an active social introvert, likes going out, doing things, being part of a group but socially awkward) Make Matteo Cliff and Jessica as the bartender/waitress who peaked in high school, top of her class in every way and embarrassed/guilty, she's content with just being waitstaff. Or make her a proxy of the older brother, Lou.,

Andrew is really intrusive about personal identity politics, but he does it to everyone. He wants to know how everyone ticks, what motivates them; and he does it with the same casual respect for everyone. It makes me feel vicariously awkward sometimes, but it’s still cool to see his genuine, eager interest in every person that comes on the show.

About Italian food rules: I Appreciate your effort to understand things that seem strange to you. I can explain you. The “rules” in Italian cooking aren’t arbitrary-they’re rooted in tradition and experience. Every pairing and combination has been refined over centuries to highlight flavours and make the best use of local ingredients. For example, the “no cheese with fish” rule isn’t a law, but a practical guideline: cheese tends to overpower the delicate taste of fish. In Italy, food is as much a part of cultural identity as art or language. Each dish tells a story and is tied to a specific region or history. Changing recipes without understanding their context is seen as a loss of authenticity-like altering a famous painting. Even in the U.S., there are unspoken food rules. For instance, people don’t put ketchup on a steak, and pumpkin is usually reserved for fall recipes. Italian “rules” are similar but stem from a longer, deeply rooted culinary tradition. Think of it like following a recipe for a classic cocktail. If you randomly swap or add ingredients, it’s no longer the same drink. Italian cooking rules don’t limit creativity-they ensure that the result is excellent. Italian cuisine prioritizes the quality of ingredients over heavy sauces or complex techniques. The “rules” are there to respect and elevate the natural flavors of those ingredients. 😉😉
