I’m Italian and I’ve known his dad Vincenzo Mancuso from his work with some Italian artist as a lead guitarist. I’ve always loved his style and his phrasing. He’s obviously technically less skilled than his son but what Matteo can still learn from his dad is a bit of warmth and research for that melodic feel that his dad always had in his solos. I’m so happy for his dad and happy that Matteo is clearly still enjoying playing with his old man.

Well, *occasionally* overplaying. It's subjective, of course. Such jams tend to make frenetic noodling difficult to avoid, as the player has a small transient group and a tiny period to briefly capture their attention. Greater maturity makes this pressure diminish.
