One thing I'd like to see is how to play out of a wet bunker where the sand is compacted. With the rain we have today it will be handy to know!!
@brianneils15983 жыл бұрын
Fantastic tips. I would say alot of amateurs decelerate their wedges and basically stick them in the ground with no follow thru. I like to finish my shot by following thru and holding the club in finish position. This way you can adjust because you know you completed your swing. Also another tip that helped me from Lee Trevino is also maintain neutral position with your putter handle. This insures square contact with your putter face.

Love the content and the guest. I really enjoyed his master series for mizuno years ago. Have to say I hate the edit on the bunker shot cutting away before impact. I think everyone would like to see the impact point in the sand and how deep / shallow the divot was. Maybe even a comment on it. Thx for everything matt.

A question for either of you? The first one that Luke played with no bunker in front and he still chose a wedge. I normally play a 7 Iron pitch and run. Is it a bad percentage shot? Despite my 28 handicap I am still decent around the greens with wedges, but I do worry about coming up short If I play a wedge there. Great video, thank you both.
@royturner18613 жыл бұрын
Definitely agree, lots of youtube golf pros say use much less loft, 7, 8, or 9 iron and get it rolling. Most of us aren't good enough to use the wedge accurately at this distance
@Golfing-AddiCt3 жыл бұрын
There is no hard and fast rules to which club you should use... Getting the ball rolling out asap is a great idea and one that most pros will suggest, but the big thing dor individuals is play to your strengths, if you are most comfortable with a 7,8,9 iron then use those, if you're PW is your secret weapon, then use that, the goal is to get the ball stopping near the hole or even rolling in, with which ever club/clubs you choose.

Chipping/pitching; can we see some of the "clock" shots? 10 to, to 10 past, 1/4 to, to 1/4 past etc.
