Blocking at that stage was startling to me, and felt like insecurity. But I'm not a fan of Kate's demeanor at all, so that may be coloring my perception of it.

I disagree, I once sang anonymously for judges at an audition for a choral group. There were seventy of us. I had severe self esteem and body image issues at the time. A blind audition allowed me to be myself and it was the best audition I ever had. I ended up with the number 2 spot as a result.

Ive done jekyll and hyde songs! Im a first soprano singer been singing for 20 plus years! That song is hard and his tone was amazing! The runs, the emotion i felt like I was watching jekyll and hyde! He needs Adam! Adam did wicked and so much more! Kate was rude and was afraid to lose! Simple! If i had auditioned I would have chosen Adam!

Wow, he is the best this season so far, I keep coming back to listen! He's the full package, and a musical theatre king would be a great addition to the cannon of winners. Sometimes musical theatre can come across cheesy and tacky on screen, but this is balanced so perfectly - it's dramatic, rich and rousing but it still feels authentic and genuine. This blocking situation is similar to when Jess blocked Keith at Kaylee Bell's audition. It was so obvious that Adam was the perfect mentor for Matthew, and Kate took that incredible experience away from him. It makes me really dislike her, even though Matthew handled the situation with grace. I still haven't forgiven Jess for doing that to Kaylee.

Matthew has opera style and AL had opera style so much that he was almost kicked out from American Idol by Simon. Mathew has best benefits coached by AL.
