The Warning - Hunter - With guest bassist 😲

This was a dream come true for my good friend Thomas who played the bass on Hunter with Dany and Pau while Ale sang.
There is no-one who deserved this more than Thomas who is not only a really nice guy but a HUGE supporter of The Warning.
I also have to say that Ale was magnificent as if you know her she doesn't like singing the lead vocal but under the circumstances she was persuaded by her sisters and we all love her for it 😁
All of those who attended this very special event are patrons and we support The Warning via Patreon because we love their music.
The Warning are an independent band and through Patreon are able to grow and make the music they want to make without outside influence which has resulted in Queen Of The Murder Scene, which is a truly remarkable album (it's my favourite album of all time) and their new single Narcisista which shows the independent spirit they posses.

Ale was great. One thing I noticed while she was singing is that she looked really uncomfortable not having her bass as a shield. Like she didn't know what to do without it. So cute. No wonder we love these young ladies.

I know I'm late to this but just wanted to get something off my brain! Dany and Pau really need to teach Ale how to let go when she's singing (there I said it) she just seems really uncomfortable singing with it without her bass and Dany and Pau are Sooooo Freaking PAUWERFUL when they sing, but it also seems to me like they turn Ale's mic down too so really hard to tell what she actually sounds like! Maybe I'm wrong and I'm 1 billion% not trying to be a hater ( haters make me 🤢🤮) I just think Ale hasn't even come close to her singing potential! I own all their CDs (except Keep Me Fed of course, can't wait for June 28th) and they are my favorite band NOW & FOREVER ♾️ THE WARNING RULES 🎸🥁🎸🤘✌️

It happens a lot with singers who also plays en instrument, even the biggest ones. In one song of the Metallica S&M2 concert, James Hetfield sings alone with the orchestra without his guitar, you can see that he is not confortable at all :D

Ale's face in 1:32 XD it such a common thing to forget how to play (or in this case forget the lyrics) in mid song, and remember just in time to catch up and continue playing. But Ale's pure reaction its priceless hahaha

I don't think she forgot the lyrics. It seems to me she waited for someone else to take over the supporting vocals. Dany did not have the mike so she could not. So she just looked at Ale and smiled the way they always do when one of them makes a mistake.

The youngest sister is the tallest sister. She stands out. I think Ale just needs to build up her confidence in regards to singing lead. It’s one thing to have her bass to hide behind and sing harmonies and another to be out in the lead as the main vocalist. Brava, Ale!

Don't know how I missed this. Thomas Illgen, a professional bassist, had gifted Ale her 1st couple of Spector bass - if I am not wrong. He had been contributing in this incredible journey of The Warning. Great to see him play with the girls. And of course, Ale singing.

You could see Ale's face go blank, then Dany looked at her and didn't realize right away what the problem was. When she looked again, she knew Ale had forgotten the lyric and you can see her quickly running through the song in her head. She and Ale got to the right part at the same time, and everything was back on track.

Thanks for posting this Matthew! I've been playing bass for 30+ years and have played shows in Philly and NYC for years in both original and cover bands. This was definitely the most fun I've had playing bass ever! Thanks again to Dany, Pau and to Ale for letting me sit in and play her bass AND for (reluctantly! :D) agreeing to sing! \m/

She's always a little awkward, but I love her. I feel ,like she dances like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the first time, but I think she's adorable. She's had such a growth spurt I dont think she's matured into the size of her body. I grew 7 inches between 7th and 8th grade, kind of remember being awkward for a bit.

What's not to love? You have a Thomas ripping the bass, Pau Pauing on the drums and backing vocals, Danny killing the guitar while having the greatest smile known to man and then Ale singing. Such a great video. Ale has such potential for singing IMO. But, The shyness is there and I understand 100% I love how you can hear the moment she sheds a lot of that shyness during this. I think it’s great anytime Ale sings lead. I know this was 4 years ago and her voice has improved since then. Ale sings at a lower register and it works for the songs she sings lead on when needed. Obviously her voice isn’t as refined as her sister’s which is probably why she doesn’t like to sing lead vocals in the first place but she definitely has the potential to sing more lead vocals if she chose to. As ridiculously talented as this band already is, could you imagine the possibilities if Ale worked on harnessing the full power of her voice? For now, we’ll just have to enjoy the little gems she gives us with the occasional surprise lead vocals. 🤘🏼
