Thanks for this - i am a pretty well versed 3D artist and feel I know my stuff. But Synth Eyes made me weep and fall to my knees as there was soo much out of my world. Everything seem similar but extremely different. Thanks for making this VERY eatable! Though i am still a cook ... It's good to learn from an actual chef. :) Thanks!

Thank you so much, to explain your way of thinking and processing a shot, I am just an hobbyist who like to do small movies with my kids, and I am a big noob to tracking and all the vfx/video stuff, it's just for fun, but I like to have good tools, so I have invested into syntheyes and After Effect/Hitfilm pro.

nice tutorial! thank you so much. just wondering, could sliding issue happen to supervised auto tracking process as well after cleaning up bad trackers several times?

Yes, if you just keep cleaning up trackers and refining, you will definitely blow past the point of diminishing returns and start degrading your solve. If you start to see slipping, you have gone way too far.

It's my understanding that if you just keep cleaning and refining indefinitely, you'll get your pixel error really low but the track might not actually be good. Continuously cleaning and refining forces the solve agree with itself, regardless of whether it was a good solve to begin with. Presumably if you have lots of solid trackers, this won't happen as easily because the solve will largely be based on those good trackers and cleaning will only remove bad trackers.
