I am more curious how well it passes the test of time :D I am not worried about actual cooling performance of the new design as similar design is already on the market ( Zephyrus line) and it seems to be the best cooling solution for high end graphics card especially in slim factor and this isn't a slim laptop.

I think similar with phones the notion of "midrange" is slowly losing relevancy I mean these laptops will have I9 processor and 2060 graphics which can play all games at ultra. Thats pretty much all you really need.

That a brilliant concept, I love it when tech companies try to innovate. They seem to understand that their target audience for that laptop will likely have a mouse and not use the track pad when gaming. So instead it becomes a wrist rest and, in theory, helps the cooling!? Amazing.

@@a.syching678 unlikely. the triton 500, a much more premium and thin laptop with a 2060, comes in at 1800 right now. based on previous pricings from acer, Id estimate this to come in at between 1200-1400 maximum.

H300 Price probably will be like 1600 usd to 1800 usd with a rtx 2060, not being negative just realistic. Unless they will compromise on something else, price will remain that way. H500 looks like a triton 500 with the thin bezels, only difference is the stripes at the back and probably doesn't have a backlit logo. Helios 700 looks lit with that hyper drift keyboard, they should have gone with the thin bezels on it too. Don't know if this source is real but helios 300 will start with a base price of 1199 usd and can be upgraded up to a 2070 max q, 9th gen i7, 32 g ram and 2 PCle ssds. Everyone uses a mouse when they play games anyway, so it's better to use a modulator for the Palmrest and the Touch Panel. Oh, of course that doesn't mean it's not cool. sliding keyboard is looks nice! And why not a thin bezel? That's very regrettable.
