Awesome, I just spent last night with my 5yr old son just camping in the backyard with pouring rain, thunderstorm boomers and all, it rained for from 2100 to 0230 used Tarp and a Hyke & Byke 2 person tent. Love the sound of rain, on a tarp.

Love this show. I like to watch it late after a hard day, today I was so inspired by the camping in the rain episode I went to the camp shop sale and bought a tent. I live in beautiful NZ so it's time I got out there more, my daughter has agreed to come with me this week. Keep them coming:)

A tip for the next time you make your seafood pasta - at the beginning, melt the butter completely in the pan, then sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of flour on top, and stir it up real good, and make a roux.(like a paste) Then add the cream, and go on like you did in the video. The cream should thicken up faster, and the sauce will be thicker when you put everything together. Great video!! So peaceful.

Man I appreciate this. I always think on every shot how much effort this must take. And time. Bravo. As a suggestion, a drone could do all this for you. Land on a spot or hover automatically for these shots and you can fly it back to yourself down stream etc. Just Monty would have to not chase it lol :)

I remember when you built that leanto, cause it looked so cozy. Nice paddle up that crazy river with all the fallen trees. Your fire sticks do not look haggard.... they all work. Yes, i did see Monty crawl into the broke down leanto. Smart Monty. ❤️ Superb.... Delicious supper. Living by the Bay, we eat a lot of chowders/seafood. 👌Superb video. I have 2 pitbull mixes and it can be difficult camping in the rain with them , but I bring their favorite treats to distract them from being uncomfortable at times. They have sweaters for cold weather and sleep under the blankets with me so their comfortable. Gotta have happy pups when camping.

Great video! I'm in New Orleans and recently got an inflatable kayak. You reminded me of all the extra comfort items I can bring boat camping vs hiking. Suggestion, add herbs and spices first to melted butter, when they become sauteed soft, add and cook seafood about 2 minutes on one side, flip, add cream last. Peace

We usually have warm falls here in the south and by the time it does frost we're into November nearing Thanksgiving. Seems we got more summer, less spring and fall and just that foggy grey 30's temp forever for winter. I envy you the snow. Monty is so laid back and just adapts to being an outdoor doggy. Love the time and effort you put into your videos and however don't burn out, we can watch reruns but don't ever feel you have to put out tons of content and just burn down. A lot of youtubers burn down and I want to enjoy these for a long long time cause they are peaceful. Have fun!

Thanks, Matthew. I enjoyed your video. In the beginning, you mentioned several times that you hoped your structure would be okay. When it wasn't, I fully expected you to simply rebuild it. All the material was there, except a new crossing support pole and a mid-span support. Tear it down and put it back up with your tarp in front and you'd have it made. Not saying you were wrong.
