@Onorevole Nullazzo doesn't really matter, it works fantastically well in the Pixels. I have an Exynos S22 Ultra and it is choppy and laggy. Software and optimisation is key.

Updates have fixed almost all the problems and doesn't heatup that much (plays pubg at 60fps) battery also getting better idk how😂. I'd say go for it rather than bragging about the exynos.

@@pandeyvaibhav76 mine does have overheating issues but only for the first few days of using it, and its pretty bad, it overheats by just using KZbin. was about to send it back for replacement but cancelled it last minute. it works like a charm now. no overheating issues at all. Im not sure how but the issue just went away. my guess is google Ai is in the works, it learns and fix by itself..thats my guess

Purchased 10 days back. 1.Uber call not able to disconnect 2.Paytm scaning issues 3.Zoom meeting issues 4.Finger print issues 5.Voice touch lock sound issue Can't praise more I will not even recommend this pixel phone to my enemy. Conditions: If you buy from Flipkart then only customer care will repair your phone or else pay for repairing if buying from Amazon or Offline market. nobody who uses apple complained about the 60Hz screen because they don't get any other options, no competition, from anywhere that releases iOs phones. With android you have so many options with so many different prices that a higher end smartphone from one of the main brands not having it seems strange since there are cheaper options that do have it.

This is a huge deal I think. I think I'll recommend the 6A to my sister who currently uses a Samsung which won't get any more updates. The Pixel 6A should still get updates for a few years, right? Also, regarding the display, I don't see why it should be a big deal to only have 60Hz on a mobile device. Sure, technology advances and therefore one should get more for the money. But I don't even need more than that. Well, probably because I don't need high fps rates in games - I don't even play a lot of games, and, if I can, even in 30fps. 😀

But I was searching something about the phone and came across a bunch of articles claiming some crazy modder saw similarities in the 6A and 6 panels, modified the ROM, and got 90 Hz working on the 6A. So it might be a Software limitation completely, or it's possible that the Panel itself can run at higher refresh rate than 60 Hz but it's not built for it.

Not worth it, my brother bought this phone and he will never buy any pixel again. Camera is not everything. The issues are, phone get extreme hot when record videos or just play games, charging takes 2 hours that is not acceptable in this days with such small battery life, fingerprint lock is a joke, anyone can open your device ( try yourself) , I tested myself and I could open my bro s phone and even acess his bank app, Watch YT only for 3 hours and battery is dead, no charger in the box , and the worst if you crack the screen, just throw away this phone because the price is almost the same as a new device! Do you want buy this phone only because the camera? Buy a cheap mirroless or a GoPro with this price and enjoy.

@@MattRobb right. The ambient temperature matters. Where I live it's between 30 to 40 degree Celsius. So the phone gets warmer in a few minutes of data usage or camera. Even when using Google maps it's getting hot.

I'm so not agree about the 60hz, apple has one line, the iPhone .. period, and because there's a large portion of people that uses this phone, they may or may not see the 120hz, actually the average user will not see it. the real question is : why the 60hz of the iPhone in 2023 is still very ok where every other android phone can't ? iOS deals with 60hz very well because it's optimized for it. there's more to say about it but this is it. I mean, a phone with tensor G2 in 2022 cannot truly run a 60hz display says a lot.. it's using the G2 from the 6 but it just can't... I remember using my Samsung s8 or s9 ... it was a nightmare and all of that were in 2017-2019 ... in 2022 as I've said ... it's not better ... I mean, no big deal there cause they use higher refresh rate on every (android) phone now. yes the iPhone is not 90 or higher but it's does the job extremely well

The main problem on every pixel's which is recording. Camera seems like cannot provide better video resolution compare to iphone or other smartphones. I used pixel, pixel 2xl, 3 and 4xl they are not good at all in recording idont know why maybe this is the biggest issue for pixel. But for taking photo, the picture taken are superb

Metro sells them carrier locked for $45 or free with a number port. It's prepaid as well, they make you buy a months worth of service but they automatically unlock the phone 180 days after activation. If you get it online from the website it's $93 shipped with a month of unlimited, granted their customer service is a nightmare, and i refuse to port my decade old number over due to that reason alone.

I've mine since late August and I've never had a phone that scratches so easily. It has only been outside the case maybe 10 times putting on or taking off screen protectors and camera lens protectors. It looks like its twice as old as it is. The frame still looks perfect but the back plate and camera bar are all scratched up. Looks good new but ages extremely fast.

I have three options: POCO F5, Nothing Phone (1) and the Google Pixel 6A. Which one would you recommend I buy? I know for a fact the F5 is a beast in performance with the SD 7+ Gen 2, but I'm worried that it might have longevity issues as I will be using it for the next 4 years. The Nothing Phone (1) is my next option for the uniqueness factor, and decent performance. But the 6A, it has another 4 years of updates, which means it should go up to Android 17. I've had it for 2 weeks and my issue is camera. When reviews said it can't do "macro" I didn't think it was this bad. I was trying to take picture after removing tick from my dog to see if I got everything out. It wont focus until I move back far enough that it's worse than seeing with my own eye. I ended up taking the picture with my 6 year old Galaxy S8+. This isn't even "Macro photography" It's "Close up". Pixel 6a can't do "Close up" is more accurate.

Sharing connexion is ridiculous on this phone, wired or unwired it does not work good. I bought it to use 5g on my computer and I am VERY disapointed. Also doesnt work well for calls. I had to do a full reset of the phone for it to work again properly After only 3 Months. Theses are only a few problems over this phone. They invest in gadget stuffs when the basics does not work. It's like building a house backward.
