I used to go to school in San Juan Capistrano. Me and my friends used to go to Trabuco Creek all the time and tell ghost stories, especially about La Llorona. It was kind of a tradition and it still is for us, even though we all no longer go to school there.

I have just been to college starter day as I start there in September. The building is very old and the staff told us of many strange events such as feeling as if someone is watching you, pulling at your hair, ripping posters of the walls, sensor lights turning on by themselves, scratching and footsteps of people and even sounds of hooves on cobblestone floor. The building has alot of history and was a dairy farm and horse stables in the victoriana era. The maids lived in the attics and had to work there for basically there whole lives for the rich people who owned and also sometimes live in it. The building was then abandoned for sometime. That is until ww1 when soldiers lived in the attics. During renovation graffiti marks drawn by the soldiers were found on the walls but some may have not been theirs but the maids who used to also live there. Burn marks were also found from the soldiers candles they would use when writing letters home.

In the Weeping Woman creek, some urban explorers were originally looking for the house where a little girl killed herself in, but they discovered it was burned down, only thing left standing was the chimney. They went to another house/barn and went to an upstairs, and all of the explorers experienced some paranormal activity, voices and such. The one explorer who seems to have a connection with most spirits they encounter anywhere, his leg fell through the top floor when the wooden planks broke. His buddies helped him walk his injured leg back to the car and they all left

I live close by to a few cursed and haunted places. I live in the Philadelphia area. So a lot of stuff from the Revolutionary War is still around. Right down the road from me is a place called the General Warren Inn. It’s believed to be haunted by people who died during the war. A few minutes away from my house is the Paoli Battlefield. In September of 1777 British soldiers ambushed an American camp killing many. Ghosts have been seen there. And finally is one that breaks my heart. Right behind my house runs a railroad track. Part of that is the Duffy’s Cut Mass Grave. In the 1800s many Irish immigrants were working on the railway. But it was during a time where the Irish were discriminated against. The man in charge of the construction had almost all of his workers killed so that Americans could take the job. It is believed that the angry spirits haunt the area.
