Just Beautiful - You do an absolutely magnificent job on this marvelous tune - and the improve is smooth and whimsical ♥♥♥ Also, this is videoed well - no special setting but the lighting although simple is spot on. So many good musicians miss simple lighting that works.

Thanks EH, I can get bang on in tune on the Sop, but the alto is a different beast. Just needs a little more work. I love the sound of the alto on this tune, it just suits it perfectly.

I agree... it feels a lot harder to go from tenor to alto and maintain good intonation (especially up high) than from tenor to, say, clarinet. At least that seems to be true with my horns. That said, your tone is great here and where it does drift slightly you pull it back home just fine. Great piece.

I bought this week a Otto Link HR 6* and am using a Rico Select Jazz 2S reed on alto sax and the sound was beautiful too. Have you tried one of these? Surely you will like.

Dear Matthew, for me this is the most beautiful alto sax recording of this song ever. I can't stop listening to it. You have a wonderful feeling for this instrument. So I don't know what you are talking about in your comment :-) I play alto and tenor sax too, but not as nice (yet). Some comments below ask about the backing track.
