Rode there from Tonopah, NV, to Bend, OR, then to Death Valley back to Tonopah. Froze on 32 deg passes south of Tahoe and baked in 100 degs in Death Valley on the same day and sandstorms couldn't see car in front of me on an '04 Kawasaki Vulcan - great bike - which led me to my first and only Harley '17 Road King. Good times, man. Do it on two whatever it is.

Cool. I'm retired living in Nevada on the other side of the Sierras. Going to take a ride to Tahoe tomorrow and cruise around. Been there many times on my RKC. Always a nice ride. If you're still there, take a ride to Pyramid Lake if you've never seen the lake before. Really beautiful.

🛑🛑 A Really Nice Trip and Video, Matt 😀👍. You took a day from my Home Photo Album. My wife and I sold our house in the Burbs, and built a Cabin on a lake in Pennsylvania. We decided, we wanted to live “on vacation” at the cabin, than waiting for weekends to “pack everything in all at once”. We now ride my Ultra around the lake every chance we get, going out on many dinner rides. We take our family out on the lake on the Boat or Jet Ski, Wakeboarding and Tubing. Our closest neighbors are the 4 deer that come into our back yard nightly, along with the hummingbirds and squirrels that hit their respective feeders daily. When we are Wakeboarding, my 6 year old Grandsons “Pump The Tunes” on our speaker system on our Waketower; to David Lee Roth’s “Just Like Living In Paradise”, because they say coming to the lake “Is Paradise”!! 💯😀👍 Sometimes you have to slow down, to see what you’ve been driving by for years, to enjoy life 😂💯.

Hi Matt. Great vid. Picked up my 2022 flrt a few days ago. Need 3 on the road now. Legs aren't what they used to be. Pushing 84 . Your vid brought back memories of a ride that stayed close to the Lewis and Clark trail. Included Astoria, Crater Lake, Mt Lassen, (climbed the volcano) overnight in Truckee at a historic hotel, the earplugs where needed. Then on to and thru Lake Tahoe to hwy 50 and back to Michigan. Starting to think about Death Valley early next summer and maybe ride the Moki dugway road in Utah. So much to see, so little time. Keep putting out those great VIDS !!

Thank you for yet another amazing video. I'm lucky to live near the Lake on the NV side and am retired so I can ride midweek with a lot less traffic. Fun watching you ride roads that I've traveled on so many times. People come from all over the world to see this place and I get to live here. Besides the lake, there are tons of amazing rides throughout the northern Sierra's. Going south from the Lake on 89 over Luther Pass to highway 88 and west to Jackson, then 49 north to Placerville and pick up 50 back to the lake is a favorite loop. You can head north from the Lake on 89 up to Truckee too and continue up to Lake Almanor or head north west to Oroville. There are many more beautiful areas as well and if you ever want to explore I'd be happy to be your tour guide. 👍

14:06 that was cute lol Did this ride with some friends back in 2017. Week long trip. Rode all the way up the 395 to Lone Pine/Mammoth . Than continued to South Tahoe where we stayed for 3 days. We circled the lake as well, but went clockwise, so we would be closer to lake. The next day, we did a day trip to Virginia City. When we left Tahoe, we cut across to Monterey, than worked are way down the coast (unfortunately not all of it, because there was a massive landslide that year), going southbound to be near the ocean. Best motorcycle trip I've ever taken. Maybe I should do it again.
