That was my old daily commute, San Clemente to Crystal Cove, a 2015 Slim in Superior Blue, sadly it was run over in the Trader Joe's parking lot in 2017. Seriously thinking of replacing it with a vivid black one. Currently rolling my beloved R1100S.

Jealous! You have all the toys. Great video. I'd be scared that the drone would never come back or crash into the sea, but it gets some superb footage. I'd do a video of a trip to cold wet Mersea Island here in the UK, but I don't think it would compare well.

You`re a lucky guy, you ride bikes in surely one of the most scenic places on the planet. I`m from the UK and last May I came to the States hired a 2017 Heritage Classic and rode HWY1 from San Francisco to LA. I`ll never ever forget the experience. Great weather great scenery and a road made for cruising. Just wish I`d worn a helmet cam. I look forward to you doing a mini tour from say Daly City to maybe Monterey or maybe Cayucus to Malibu. Nice Street Glide Special.

Love what you've done so far on your bike. Only thing being white I kind of reminds of the Louisiana State Police motorcycle unit bikes. They use the road kings with a 110 on them. Also cool one up seat.

Matt Laidlaw I’m sorry getting a CCL in Southern California is difficult, however I do recommend taking the 16 hour CCL classroom course even if you don’t follow through getting the actual CCL license.in California, just apply for the Utah and Florida CCL after you complete the course, as they cover most states anyway! I found it very educational and eye opening in terms of self defense and bringing me up to speed on modern tactics, safety, legal issues and advanced tactical training. My instructors where all military and very, very strict! I am very glad I took the class and highly recommend it. Anyway, I hope you make more solo road trip videos this summer away from the rat race. Take care and enjoy that beautiful bike of yours!

Matt beautiful bike. Congrats! So here is a question to a guy that knows all these bikes very well - I tested both SG and RG recently, I liked the looks and the ride on the SG. Only every dealer I went around here totally trashed street glides “oh the wind” this and that but I din’t feel a thing. I actually felt SG to be lighter and gave me more frontend feel. Maybe since I ride a dyna I don’t mind a little shake but would like a honest opinion which one to get. Is wind really a factor when considering a SG? I do go on long trips and often ride 80+ mph . I’m 6.2 and I was SUPER comfortable on the SG with the 12” monkey bars.

Try riding Highway 1 just north of San Francisco, out of Marin, all the way up until it joins with US 101. You'll have a 4th favorite section.

Great insight and great views with the drone ,alas one can not fly drones over public places here in Europe.Big fines if spotted. Also filming in la sirena grill fantastic place ,but like i said do that in the EU in most places you would at least get into trouble

One can fly but the list of rules are unendless and you have to be aware of this,ie no flying over a car rash etc,no flying over people as such when they are gathering,no flying over prisons schools etc etc..so the chances of being arrested are high.Freedom is not a big word here,like the USA.
