Have to appreciate the effort to restore and/or maintain these campers. Great to see so many in such amazing condition. Thanks for showcasing these and the rally.

Thanks for watching! Just like classic cars, or Tiki Collectors, it is a labor of Mid Century love.

A lot of work to restore but as proven by Larry at Mobiltec’s students. On couple restored a vintage camper, took it 30,000 miles around the country, not one issue, you’d be lucky to get back home with a new camper, lol

Like the video! Glad to see that someone else has a "Scotsman" travel trailer. That person who you were taking to is right very few survived. One thing most people don't know they were rentals. They haven't changed the design in over 20 years. I have a 67 Scotsman which I will have at the TCT rally in Milford Michigan at camp Dearborn at the end of September. My best piece of memorabilia are the rental agreements for one of those H trailers. I have 3 other campers, one is in the hardcover book teardrops and tiny trailers by Douglas keister. Which is one of six that I built, kept number 3 which go under the Time Traveler name. My second camper is a unrestored 1962 Heilite one wheel camper. Third camper is a 1961 Hi-Lo. Well anyway didn't mean to keep babbling. I've been showing campers at car shows for over 45 years. A lot of people still don't get it! I'm glad there are shows for these rigs. Looks like some great shows out west. Might have to go there sometime. Happy Trails!!🎉

Argosy was Airstream’s entry level brand. Designed to bring new campers into the Airstream fold. Built in the same way except for the front and rear caps were painted steel instead of the multi-panel aluminum cap. Be sure to visit the Airstream factory if ever in central Ohio. Jackson Center to be specific.

"Would you say it's lite-brite, making things with light?" The lite-brite toy with the plastic pegs...played with that as a kid. Always thought it was boring but I'm not a creative guy so it's most likely a "me" problem.

The music @41:12 made it hard to hear your conversation with the owner of that trailer. Otherwise I loved watching this video. Love vintage cars and trailers.

I am completely addicted to your rally videos - they are WONDERFUL! My question is are all the major rallies on the West Coast? Is there a good directory online? I have just started looking, and I figured I should ask the experts!

@joandurand8648 Thank you so much. We cover people, places and events in the Kustom Kutlture scene. Classic Cars to Vintage Tiki Bars. I would recommend Vintage Trailer Magazine online. They have a ton of events and info. :)
