Typically when injecting anything with splines it’s mostly about the speed of the injection. Gotta inject really fast to get them to fill before the plastic cools and stops flowing. Also finer salt will fill in easier than the larger salt particles

Thanks for the info. I don’t pour often with molds that have splines.

Yup salt made this bait harder to inject than usual I’m sure

Great mold, I have a couple of the 3".........still shoot my 4" the old fashioned way (hot knife the grubs and skirts together).
@MattLunaFishingАй бұрын
I’m Gonna do that as well with other molds!

If you're fishing it weighted. Why would you add salt to the plastic?
@pmm422Ай бұрын
This was my thought too, salt just just makes the plastic a lot more fragile the trade off is it sinks. With the skirted grubs sinking shouldn't matter because you're typically using a jig head. Now one of the techniques that's becoming popular is the dice lures. they have lots of movement on a slow fall and that's what the fish want. Maybe that's what his plan is to be able to fish it on a slow fall weightless. Maybe???

I was just mimicking what’s already on the market with this style bait.
