Matt, thanks for piecing them all together as makes it simple to just follow. Stretching is one area I don’t give enough attention so keen for you to post some more. Especially if you get the opportunity to post the stretch programme in your 12 week fitness plan. Enjoying your posts (especially with all the extra time in lockdown in NZ). Cheers

Some great stretches. Some variations of stretches I do but not seen before. Will definitely be giving these a go

Matt. After a long days work on a construction site with all the lifting, moving and turning. Of course all the jumping to conclusions, I still like to stretch. Not much due to the fact I am always eager to ride. In short, stretching helps a lot.

Thanks Matt. As a 58 year old rider I think I will really benefit from these. Can you point me in the direction of some hamstring exercises? Mine are very tight, I can barely touch my shins, never mind my toes.

Good stretches. Liked the key points to warm up 1-2 miles gradually increasing. could you help us out with arm stretches and exercise too? Thank You!

you have a seriously flexible quad, dang. I don't even need to put my foot up to feel it, just engaging my glute is enough with my leg out behind me on the ground haha.

These are great! I followed along and I already feel more limber. I was familiar with some of these from your 12-week program but the explanations shed even more light on them. Hello to your neighbors 👋🤣

As I drive a desk all day these stretches will be great for getting my hips/lower back working. As I'm currently working from home I might do them whilst I'm on calls.....got to be better than sitting still.

As you mentioned about sitting a computer all day. That's me for over 20 years. Bought a half decent bike Trek Roscoe 8 over 6 months ago. Bet I've not spent over an hour on it total. These kind of stretches I'll give a try. Also bought your 12 week and nutrition guide. I have ideas about fitness but never seem to follow them through.
@MTBFitness4 жыл бұрын
Totally agree in regards to sitting down. When we are all hunched over it’s important to stretch off. Thanks for buying the guides too!

These are all very good exercises, but it's much more beneficial to hold the position in a stretch for a least 30 seconds. You should let, what ever your trying to loosen up, be able to stretch out. Doing long stretches, or these exercises slowly, is a much safer way to accomplish that.

Nice stretching is one of those things I leave until it’s too late because i just want to get riding but then spend time in pain with tight muscles that end up giving me back pain then I don’t ride 😂 I’m going to set my ipad every time before I ride and stretch to you 😝👍🏻🤘🏼
